Being a hunter and conservationist I've learned to respect nature for what it provides us. Beauty and source of food whether being tea berry's wild strawberries, blueberries,raspberries or my yearly harvest of small and big game. My source of firewood to provide a secondary source of heat for the winter. Your videos still show me that there are people out there who love everything that me and my family do. This was a wonderful year of the animal soap opera! I love seeing the foxes go from a ratty looking coat in the spring to their summer coat and then their winter floofy coat, also the squirrels go from scrawny little animals in the spring to ripped athletes in the summer and final middle aged with a big potbelly in the fall/winter.

Little green bird that you said looks like a parakeet was a female scarlet tanager. The females are greenish. I lived in Tennessee most of my life and I’ve only seen one. It’s another one of those birds that is in trouble. The thrush was a wood thrush. that’s the song songbird that has the beautiful flute like sounds. He actually has two voice boxes that’s how he’s able to make beautiful flute like sounds in two different pitches both at the same time. He is also in trouble due to habitat loss. He migrates in the winter and will only live in forested areas. He is a shy bird. I was hoping you caught a bobwhite they have almost disappeared in Tennessee. They were once very common. Bobwhites have almost disappeared in Tennessee from what I understand due to habitat loss and hunting. They hang out in tall grasses in fields. Thank you for sharing this with us I love the little birds. It makes me sad to think of how many colorful birds Tennessee once had that you don’t see any more.

I really enjoy seeing the animals that live or visit my yard. I can sit at my table, while enjoying a hot mug of tea and watch them through my patio doors playing. They are so cute. I think I've took more videos of them than anything else. Thank you Donnie for all the beautiful animal videos. (PS. I get real sad when they don't come visit 😕)

Wonderful year of wildlife Donnie. This winter storm has been hard on all wildlife here in Indiana. I found several frozen birds and at least a dozen that took shelter in my barn. They were so cold they would not move and you could pet them. I fired up the salamander heater and raised the temp. By 10 degrees for them while I did my chores.

Just catching up on some videos I haven’t seen yet! I love this video Donnie!! You did a marvelous job and I want to thank you for all the hard work that you put into making these videos for all of us to watch!! I do believe there are orbs that visit here & there, but I’m not sure exactly what they are. Could be supernatural…..a spirit who for some reason has unfinished business or some other reason for not crossing over. This universe is so vast & unexplored……who knows what lies beyond earth. I used to watvh the babyies from time to time. They would hang from the branches of the tree and hang off of each other, it was a sight to see, I didn't know they were such good acrobats!

The possum video was really good! I never knew they gathered nesting material and carried it with their tail. I've seen a mother carrying her babies before but it is a rare sight.

Fantastic video. I love the wildlife . I live I. Pennsylvania and on the very top of a mountain and we get many bears, deer, turkeys, raccoons, skunks and plenty of squirrels and black squirrels and even the flying squirrels and occasionally we hear the coyotes but haven’t seen one here yet . I love the wildlife so much

Hello Mr. Donnie just had the time to sit back and enjoy this treasure THANK YOU very much!! Beautiful animals I love watching the squirrels too. Glad the poacher met with the law. I also have seen something that looks real similar to what you have on film. The flashlight or orb looking object. I dont think its a flashlight. Maybe it is an orb. Some say they believe these may be forest faeries. I know that sounds crazy. Just thought Id share what others were thinking. Either way, thanks again ♡♡

That little bird that you thought may have been a Grouse may have been a Green Heron. If it's not, I'm completely lost and incredibly intrigued. The bird you thought looked like a parakeet looks like something of the Grosbeak species. But, ultimately, it doesn't matter what they are called. What matters is that the Good Lord created them and we can enjoy each and every one. Thank you for the compilation and keep up the great work in the new year!

I've only seen a couple bobcats in all the years hiking in Florida. The wild cats typically are elusive. So great you have video of a momma cat and her cub.
😍 the coyote shots. They are so hated for the killing of livestock but are vital to the ecostructure. Their jaws are fearsome!

I’m 76 and my grandparents ate wood chuck. They live on fresh fruits veggies very healthy diet. They have so much fat on them they first boiled them removing as much fat as possible. They would then bake the chuck with carrot/potatoes. They said the meat was tender and sweet. They ate possum also. Two weeks of milk diet they said cleaned them out. Tasted like pork. My Dad told me he was out rabbit hunting and came across a dead mile, for some reason he kicked it and two possums came running out of its belly😄 He said he never ate possum again after that. Michigan 🤗🇺🇸🇨🇦

Your Bobcat is different from the Bobcats we have up in Michigan. Our bobcats have big Tufts of hair on the tips of their ears and throughout their face. The coloration is a little different too. They do have the same eye markings on the back of their ears though.

That orb looking thing is interesting. I would think if it were a flashlight the scenery it was shining on would show up better. Instead it kind of fogs it out. The salamander was an amazing catch! Always love to see the Bears! Thanks so much for sharing your Treasures❤

I live in an area where there is nothing but wooded areas for miles because my property backs up to a swamp at the very back. I have deer feed on the edge of my yard, raccoons, possums, turkeys, rabbits, and more squirrels than I can count. I don't allow but one person to hunt my land and they only hunt it twice a year so the wildlife feels pretty safe I guess. Very nice to see some footage from up in the mountains. Good morning. I wanted to let you know that I enjoy your videos. I rarely am able to watch but I listen to one each day on the way to work while driving. Your voice and the stories are very entertaining. I love all the happy stories but I would love to hear some that tell the danger or darker sides of the mountains and their people. I imagine there were some rough if not evil people that have either lived in or moved through the mountains from time to time. Just a suggestion.
