This is the Morin Khuur (Horsehead Fiddle) from Mongolia. It's a beautiful instrument. Check out Enkh Jargal if you can find his music... "Morin Thurrgo", "Pas De Deux", and "Great Eagle Dance".

But some of them are almost impossible to reproduce realistically, and some instruments wouldn't sound so authentic if they weren't played by an experienced player. That's why musical phrases are the most useful way to get a truly authentic sound from all over the world.
