Those desert flowers are going to bloom so beautifully this coming spring. It might set a record as to the biggest bloom in history.
In the 60s through the 80s, we had California Poppies everywhere you looked.! Fields, parkways, people's yards, shopping centers, ect! Weather tampering has changed all of that.!

We got 12 inches of snow in Michigan I was shoveling out for 6 hours. You just had rain, so don't complain. You didn't have a storm.

near the holiday season, most of the bay area (save for rural areas on the outskirts of Solano county) there was a ban on using fireplaces. Some local govt. Officials that live in San Francisco proper were complaining about how much smoke was affecting their views and boom, the ban took effect soon after
