Wanted to stop by there on my first road trip W to E in that area, but had a family emergency. Then decided to stop by on the way back W...Ugh, no time to stop. Now, have to make plans when I go back through. The T.R. Painted Picture stop was super nice. Thanks for the vid!!
T.R. is one of my favorite historical figures. His time in ND was born out of so much personal turmoil. Its no wonder he found this place therapeutic. What an amazingly unique beauty. Thanks for sharing!
We were there in August ‘19 and really enjoyed it. Most of our time was spent in the park but we did the dinner and musical as well. It’s such an awesome show and the whole experience left us wanting to go back. -Chris & Suzannah
Thanks Juan & Mary! Love your video... from the flat lands to the fly-over of those gorgeous yellow trees, to the wildlife, and the eating & entertainment. I’m curious of two things: is ‘steak fondue’ actually deep fried steak? It kind of looks like that... And are the colors really lots of browns, rust reds & dull greens? What a difference in wildlife... from S. FL. & Everglades’ birds & reptiles to lots of (little & really big) mammals. Just fascinating. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Juan. We really enjoyed this. Were tired of writing all this down on the bucket list as its filled up LOL! So we have about decided to follow the path next spring or summer that you all have taken this year. We just finished camping at Smokemont with the rig in the Smokies this week and are filled with the majesty of GSM! Wish we could produce videos like you do!!
Thanks for the share. Not easy to get great shots of the prairie dogs. Folks, if you visit this park, there are several dog towns. PLEASE SLOW DOWN when driving. I personally saw, in one day, five of the little guys which had been hit by careless drivers speeding through the park. Unnecessary and tragic.
Wow.. How nice..
Glad you liked it.
Wow! Great video! We are loving your cinematography!
Thank you Mario
nicely done. I just discovered South Dakota recently. Next time I will go to North Dakota, because of you😊 Nicely done.
Thank you much
Wow. Great video! Was it warm? I saw you weren’t wearing a jacket. Is that part of what they call the high plains?
It was cool but not cold. I think it us the high plains.

Yes the steak is deep fried, it was just ok. Yes the colors this time of the year are pretty dull.
