March 2 Denver was mine GREAT show!!!!!

I from Los Angeles. I saw them for the first time in 1980. Halloween night at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. I was 13, my big brother took me. He was 18. Coolest big brother ever. (not sure what happened? Two marriages and two kids later, not so cool anymore. But I digress. Lol)
I had tix to see him in Portland in March. There was a huge storm. No driving thru what's known in L.A. (and Southern California) as "the Grapevine". I had my tickets, and my hotel booked already. Me and my best friend.
I kept an eye on the situation. By midnight the night before the show I realized I wasn't going to make it driving.
I had been up a few days partying. I knocked out.
Woke up at 7am, the day of. Decided we could fly in. Immediately began checking all the airfare apps etc.
Fell asleep again.
Woke up at the last minute. Got the airfare secured. We had to race but we'd make it to Portland in time to get beer and see the show.
(Reminding my friend, who'd never seen Bruce before that he's promt. If the ticket says 7:30 he'll be on stage by 8. Not like the bands in the 70's or old Guns and Roses lol).
At the very last minute he tells me he hasn't found a babysitter for his new puppy he just got weeks earlier.
We can't take her. We can't leave her.
We missed the show. Total cost of tickets, hotel and airfare I had to swallow.
Approx. $3,500+
OUCH!
Flash forward- I'm saving up to go to the L.A. shows in December. It's July. Hot. My Benz I bought used for $5,000 (an '03 with 108,000 miles on it, ran great and was immaculate inside and out.) takes a dump. Between rent and everything else had to get rid of it. Not even gonna go into details. Lol
But I'm consoled by the fact that I'm going to see Bruce in L.A. at Christmas time. Hopefully both nights!
Then bam.
Ulcers!?
Wtf?

No way.
Yep it's official.
Fuck!! Fuck!! Fuck!!
I nearly cried.
Then I see the rescheduled dates announced.
So April it is.
Pray for me.
