This brings me back to a time when people were actually musicians & mastered their instruments. Mary has mastered several instruments, writes & sings beautifully. Today marketing people write C G Am F songs for teen pop celebrities who can't even play a kazoo. I stopped listening to the radio but I hear their stuff all the time in stores. Mary inspired me to get out of my rut & start picking my guitar again. Good times.
What? You don't autotune and use computers for music? 😂 yes I agree 100%. I hope to see Mary live someday. Godspeed to your future as well. ❤
I predict that in years to come, "Death and the Maiden" will be thought of as a literary and musical masterpiece. This is an entire novel delivered in ten minutes. We get to fill in the blanks with our own imaginations just like any good book. I stand in awe of Mary's talent.
