  • In this episode, I meet my future wife, Ilse aka "Cinnamon," at the end of the section a day before hitchhiking into Skykomish. We haven't been apart since!

"SoBo" is an abbreviation for "South Bound" "NoBo" is North Bound"

Just as Casey said, it means Southbound. I was hiking from Canada to Mexico through California, Oregon, and Washington. Thank you! Was worried the sound effect might be over the top but whatever! ✌️

I did this same exact thing at 7:56 going down to Milk Creek. Fortunately there's enough overgrowth to hold on to lol

@@RyanKodakBrown For the sake of other hikers, I hope so! Although, I was there back in 2019 and already there were small trees growing where the trail should be, so it hadn't looked like it had been maintained in years.

I fell off the trail about one mile from Milk Creek SoBo also. Unfortunately I broke my ankle in the process and had to be extracted by helicopter. The overgrown brush makes it impossible to see the tread of the trail.

@@RyanKodakBrown it's crazy to think if you were running a day earlier or later your paths might not have crossed and your life would be much different without her.
