Crossing The Canadian Border In Our Sailboat And Going Through The DODD NARROWS At The Wrong Time. .

We finally leave the U.S. and start our journey North and it already gets very interesting going through the Dodd Narrows, we had no idea it was going to be that bad!

Thanks, we're no stranger to currents back home but rip tides in a small passage like the Dodds was a new one for sure. Boat handled it real well, I just kept the bow going straight haha

Hey there! Thanks for the subscription! Ganges Harbour is pronounced "g-ann-gees". It's one of our favorite places. Yes, Dodds Narrows can be an unforgiving teacher! If you time it right, it is zero current, like a glass of water. But even 20 minutes off schedual can make for a memorable trip! Beautiful boat!!
