On a 'true' cvt, the rpms 'are' how much power you are making. if you give it half throttle, it will give you whatever rpm is 'half' power. The revs shouldn't be a binary choice of idle or redline, there is still reason for a cvt to be between them. A honda fit is 'kinda' like that, but it still wants to climb revs while flooring.
Sorry, but no.. in a real cvt, that is exactly what it does. It revs to it’s optimal working point and keeps it there. Then the transmission (hopefully) adjusts accordingly.
You think you don't need power steering, but keep in mind that these cars are driven in countries where highways are as wide as an average American living room.
People routinely drove on those roads without power steering for a hundred years, often in cars heavier than this. Yeah, sitting still it's a bit tough, but if you're moving at all it isn't.
Power steering is for parking lots.. not highway driving. That’s why old 70s boats are easy drive around town.. but very floaty on windy secondary highways. "Suzukaru"
Your description of the body flexing is the exact same thing I remember my mother’s 1990 LeBaron convertible, the thing was a wet noodle.
It's sad to see how a male karen destroyed an entire brands reputation in the US
What happen?
Paul Hogan is a male Karen?

Saw this thing in person today! Made me so happy to see a car that Mr Regular has driven!
At Wiked Big Meet right!? I'm just watching this vid now and I'm like "Wait a minute..."😂😂😳
@@nateb8507 Yup!
Mr. Regular is the ultimate expression of "weird white boy" and I love it.
I used to have an 88 VW Cabriolet. I will never forget the seller describing the car to me "This is a nice car to go into town and get ice cream on a Sunday afternoon. Not much else". He then gave me a direct stare and a firm handshake before handing me the key.
you missed 1 fact about this car, you could get it in AWD!!!
I’m glad this one went to a good home. I stalked it on their website for like a year - I saw it was gone today (I knew it by the minidisc player). Hilarious to find it here.
