That Rolls Royce-Merlin engine is so beautiful and has the most distinctive sound. We have Spitfires flying over us almost daily from March to September and the sound of that engine always sends a thrill down my spine and makes me instantly start searching the skies for the plane. It's so exciting 😊❤

Total focus. Fabulous to watch. When like me you grew up to appreciate folk without ‘side’ aka not some boastful muppet who thinks they’re better than everyone else because they may excel at one aspect, the current cult of celebrity leaves me cold. Love your work guys.

a few years ago he was doing the 24hour mountain bike race called mountain mayhem, he was on his last lap, and frankly looked absolutely knackered, i was track side with a large group of friends as we were a big club, i pointed him out to my friends and we all lined the track, from abotu 50 metres, he came in to the section looking pissed off, we started cheering him and by the end he had a massive grin on his face. he also helped a freind that had a bike crash and was paralysed, he helped raise money for his care. i've always thought he was a good chap. Channel 4 did a series called Speed with Guy Martin, most are really good and quite a few champion british made stuff which is nice. also his travelling shows are good as well, they are calle "our guy in . . . " he goes to India, China, Latvia, very interesting.

Guy Martin reminds me SO MUCH of my Dad and Uncle Dave. The autism is spicy and fabulous. They're obsessed with whatever it is they love (my Dad and Uncle used to build and race cars all over the UK and Europe) and they don't do socialising BUT if there is socialising it's on their terms. Same with Fred Dibnah. Absolute fucking legends 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🥰🥰🥰

I've started collecting old tools of all kinds for when I need them because they were made so much better back in the day. A sledgehammer made in the 1920's won't even scratch while one made in 2010 will dent like it's nothing. Every single tool made out of metal that you can replace with a 100-year-old equivalent is so much better. Hammers, axes, vices, clamps, etc. If you can find a pre-1960's equivalent, do so. They'll last a dozen lifetimes.

One word I think Americans overuse is "hero".
When you call the paper boy a hero because he came out when it was raining the word kind of loses it's meaning.

You really watch a RUclips podcast Guy did, chasintheracin motorbike pod. He was interviewed buy Chrissy Rouse, BSB racer, sadly no longer with us, and Dom Herbertson, a TT racers, it is fascinating, to watch. You may need subtitles, as the lads are Georgies, from Newcastle, and with guys accent. Even if you do not show it on your channel, I would recommend it, the way he pushes himself to do what he love now, wow.

26:50 example you need 2x 10mm to hold a bolt and turn the nut at the other end, then you need 2x longer 10mm spanners if you can't reach it. That's 4 already you need. Then you need some bigger oversized spanners that only come in a set and they also come with 10mm spanners. The collection keeps growing.

This sounds like an excuse they're using to get drunk and rowdy and to cause mischief in other ways, and I wouldn't fall for it if I were you. I suggest on the contrary that you send some other people on the train and keep these troublemakers well in hand. To the parent, their child will always be a responsible teen angel, whereas to the public at large, the only thing these hellions are responsible for is CRIME!
