Been singing Sanjis praises since Punk Hazard. What Oda has done with his character development has been methodical and patient and has paid off. I feel like now we have the complete version of Sanjis character just like we’ve had the complete version of Zoros character.
I know Zoro is strong. But for me personally I prefer Sanji's ability. My man can walk in sky, he can float ,he can walk under water, can go invisible, can create fire and can move around in light speed. He really has a wide variety of useful skill sets.

Totally agree with the fighting style I'd go as far to say its the best. Most entertaining in one piece. the kicks and the way he moves is so dynamic and diable jambe ads that extra spice. Then oda gives him some of the best character writing in the series to top it off. Easily my favorite

I think people forget "failure" or not we have a literal Supersoldier as a cook, who has in comparison casually kept pace with with the strength of Luffy and Zoro. Sanji is the Boss monster hidden in plain sight and it makes it super satisfying whenever he pops off. I guess that's why I never questioned his strength or place in the crew. The cook and the first mate were always going to carry someone like Luffy right to the top lmao.

Here’s my theory. sanji stans want sanji to be written like zoro and are really zoro fans in actuality. Why? They complain about his gags that make sanji unique but when he’s does something “comparable” to zoro they love it
Don't think that's the issue it's more of a case where he hasn't been highlighted as a fighter in years this is Sanji's first serious one on one on 10 years. Pre time skip Sanji was folding everything and breaking necks. That's the Sanji we want I had no issues with his emotional content I liked WCI after reading it over and it strengthen my love for the character but the time for that is over we just want to see Sanji folding people again lol.
We also need to remember that oda usually used sanji as the witty and critical brain of the crew. Multiple time he done sneaky things that give strawhat upperhand, also he usually the one that question things first.
Here's a weird idea what if the genetic experiment that Judge Vinsmoke did on Sanji actually worked but not in the way Judge thought it would. What if the raid suit only works on the genetically modified. If Sanji was born with out the improvements then he should be a regular human. We seen this with the cracking bones and all that. So if he was normal maybe it wouldn't work on him. Just a crazy thought.
I can't wait, this fight should be epic, the thought of those two working together is scary, you know once it's over they will be back at each other's throats but the moments when they work in tandem are always amazing
Post timeskip Sanji having low durability will never make sense to me cause it makes it seem like those 99 recipes from the New Kama Masters that are supposed to make the body stronger didn't do anything for him.

Endurance is how long you can keep pushing on while durability is how much you can take without being significantly effected. Sanji vs Vergo is a case of great endurance but poor durability.

Sanji is extremely durable , he's apart of an artificially created line of humans and this gives Oda alot of flexibility with his powers. We haven't seen Sanji gone all out yet either he's the type of fighter that does just enough but he never overexaggerates himself
@- SageAegis - no, he is not physically modified. The Vinsmokes have very hard skin and special genetic powers for example. Judge clearly said Sanji was the failure. This was highlighted in his backstory.

People also tend to forget that Wano is the culmination of the first saga of the New World. Oda nearly always places Sanji on the back burner until the end of a saga. Sanji did nearly nothing for the entire Alabasta saga but then came in huge with the Mr Prince moment and his battle with Mr 2. Sanji did basically nothing for all of Skypiea but then we got the “Thanks for the light” moment (which is still my fav Sanji moment) Sanji did some stuff during Water 7 saga, but he caught a lot of L’s up until the Jabra fight, his words of wisdom to Usopp, and the closing of the gates of justice. So while this saga has been far longer than any other, Oda always brings Sanji back in a huge way near the climax of a saga.
Disliking the part of Sanji that yelled for Robin to save him means you don't actually like Sanji. You just want a combat story, and you don't care about the actual substance of One Piece. Stick to your mindless power scaling lane. That's all some of ya'll seem to care about.

Technically, both Sanji, and Zoro have advantages when it comes to fighting King! Zoro can cut fire which can counter his fire abilities, and Sanji’s raid suit is fire resistant, which can also counter King’s fire as well!

Just to start off. Zoro is my favorite character. That being said so many people are sleeping on Sanji man. I didn't ever think of Sanji fighting King and Queen at the same time, granted it probably wasn't a long fight but for him to at the very least step up and do it is impressive, especially if it was without the raid suit. Here’s my theory. sanji stans want sanji to be written like zoro and are really zoro fans in actuality. Why? They complain about his gags that make sanji unique but when he’s does something “comparable” to zoro they love it
Don't think that's the issue it's more of a case where he hasn't been highlighted as a fighter in years this is Sanji's first serious one on one on 10 years. Pre time skip Sanji was folding everything and breaking necks. That's the Sanji we want I had no issues with his emotional content I liked WCI after reading it over and it strengthen my love for the character but the time for that is over we just want to see Sanji folding people again lol.
We also need to remember that oda usually used sanji as the witty and critical brain of the crew. Multiple time he done sneaky things that give strawhat upperhand, also he usually the one that question things first.

Here's a weird idea what if the genetic experiment that Judge Vinsmoke did on Sanji actually worked but not in the way Judge thought it would. What if the raid suit only works on the genetically modified. If Sanji was born with out the improvements then he should be a regular human. We seen this with the cracking bones and all that. So if he was normal maybe it wouldn't work on him.
Just a crazy thought.
I can't wait, this fight should be epic, the thought of those two working together is scary, you know once it's over they will be back at each other's throats but the moments when they work in tandem are always amazing
Post timeskip Sanji having low durability will never make sense to me cause it makes it seem like those 99 recipes from the New Kama Masters that are supposed to make the body stronger didn't do anything for him.
Sanji arguably has the best endurance feats after luffy during this raid, maybe that comes from those recipes
@@deadshot6554 are you talking about the King attack if so that was mostly thanks to the raid suit? Also there's a difference between endurance and durability. Endurance is how long you can keep pushing on while durability is how much you can take without being significantly effected. Sanji vs Vergo is a case of great endurance but poor durability.

Also he went through a lot during this raid, he fought an army of gifters, took hits from a zoan user, fought both king and queen for a while, and now is having a tag team fight with zoro against the two commanders
If he still gets up and go fight kaido with zoro later on, then he might have even more endurance than zoro
@@deadshot6554 again that's all endurance which I am aware sanji has a superb level of and even if his was already damaged for his leg, the very essences of his fighting style, to get fractured is a terrible look considering at no other point in the story has that happened. As for all the offscreen fighting he's doing the problem is its offscreen so we have no way the gauge the level of attacks he's taken and the potential damage it could would or should have done.

Sanji is extremely durable , he's apart of an artificially created line of humans and this gives Oda alot of flexibility with his powers. We haven't seen Sanji gone all out yet either he's the type of fighter that does just enough but he never overexaggerates himself

@- SageAegis - no, he is not physically modified. The Vinsmokes have very hard skin and special genetic powers for example. Judge clearly said Sanji was the failure. This was highlighted in his backstory.
@@123rikin what he’s talking about is the theory to explain Sanjis insane durability and strength that the augmentations actually still took the drug that allowed him to maintain his humanity just delayed its reveal. I think it personally makes a lot of sense and with the raid suit comments it does make it sound like the use is doing something to him plus his ability to turn his foot into fire. A lot of the things that we’ve been overlooking as just Sanji are coming up now.

People also tend to forget that Wano is the culmination of the first saga of the New World. Oda nearly always places Sanji on the back burner until the end of a saga.
Sanji did nearly nothing for the entire Alabasta saga but then came in huge with the Mr Prince moment and his battle with Mr 2.
Sanji did basically nothing for all of Skypiea but then we got the “Thanks for the light” moment (which is still my fav Sanji moment)
Sanji did some stuff during Water 7 saga, but he caught a lot of L’s up until the Jabra fight, his words of wisdom to Usopp, and the closing of the gates of justice.
So while this saga has been far longer than any other, Oda always brings Sanji back in a huge way near the climax of a saga.

Technically, both Sanji, and Zoro have advantages when it comes to fighting King! Zoro can cut fire which can counter his fire abilities, and Sanji’s raid suit is fire resistant, which can also counter King’s fire as well!

Just to start off. Zoro is my favorite character. That being said so many people are sleeping on Sanji man. I didn't ever think of Sanji fighting King and Queen at the same time, granted it probably wasn't a long fight but for him to at the very least step up and do it is impressive, especially if it was without the raid suit. Sanji with the raid suit has even better durability than an ancient zoan lol that man is gonna be a problem. The power scaling is about to go off after wano with Sanji fighting King and Queen as well as Zoro fending off an attack from 2 emperors. King and Queen are going to be destroyed by a raid suit Sanji and conquerors haki Zoro and we are all going to fucking feast ladies and gentlemen!!
