These world records are actually insane
For Electrodrome, it was recently discovered by Alberto and its only lap 3 glider cut and the community calls it the JenZua glider, it saves a lot of time.
Honestly I hope Nintendo doesn't patch it
@@tobyzilla Maybe they can in races (not that it gets done there much I’m sure), but if patched in time trials the current record would be unbeatable

It is wild when players discover new Mario Kart shortcuts. I've never seen the majority of these skips/shortcuts! I did learn about the GBA Rainbow Road shortcut years ago. Those bouncy edges just allow you to skip like half the track! 😅

gameplay HUD display is clearly Mario Kart 8 for Wii U. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will always show two item slots, despite only having one item. Unless it's different in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe time trials. I don't know. Don't sue me if I'm wrong.
Ok. Disregard this comment. Just remembered GBA Sky Garden MK8D time trial earlier showed only one item slot, so it could be Mario Kart 8 Deluxe *or* Mario Kart 8 Wii U. Sorry for my mistake.

Wait... did I see Luigi do a normal side trick on a glider ramp rather than a barrel side trick? Is there a window where you can trick normally before a glider ramp on this stage, or on all glider ramps for that matter?

I'm kind of sad he skipped the moon section, it's one of my favorite parts of the run. It wasn't actually clear as to whether or not the skip in section 1 would be faster until I found that, and it just looks really cool imo
