That was really awesome to watch. Its amazing to look at organisms like that. We sometimes forget about things we can't see. But there is a whole tiny world to discover. Thanks for the video.
Honestly, this is a really awesome and refreshing video idea! and putting them under the microscope for us to see was pretty cool! Can't wait to see what fish you end up spawning in there :D
A couple of different types of rotifer, you always see them in pond sludge, great stuff for a boy with a toy (microscope). Also some cyclopoid copepods and ostracods representing the micro crustaceans. I think there was a flagellate protist flipping about early on and the wormy thing at the end may have been a very early stage diptetan lava but I stand to be corrected. Always fun to look at this stuff and easy to culture in a tub outside in the sun with algae etc, they call it pond life for a reason. Cheers
What is working for me at the moment. Spawning mobs from tank goes in bucket with aquarium water . Turkey baster the day olds into the tank of green water , no acclimating but it’s working . I grow green water in tanks that are outside in the sunlight. I will continue with what I am doing as I feel I am on a path similar to what you have there. At the moment I am refreshing water from the large tanks outside . Thanks for the video. I had not thought of trying to keep a tank going inside permanently .
Its very interesting to see under the microscope so many methods but great to know i tried so many methods it always worked but even in my 10gallon tank which i dont do any gravel vac n minimal water changes start getting algae a let the organism clean it up clear now they just feed on mulm n detritus and decaying plant matter but it was cool to see under a microscope.
I am very impressed and shocked by this video! You made my day! I’ve been thinking in this direction for a long time: do not to feed fish to enter the food into aquarium, but to keep and to cultivate the food in the aquarium with fish. Like and subscribe immediately! You are a cool guy! I fell in love with the first video before it even ended! :))) I sat with my lower jaw dropped down and looked and listened with delight! Do you have any education in this area? Where does this approach come from ?!

That's so cool to actually see, been 'culturing' infusoria for years, not knowing what it actually looks like. Thanks heaps!
How come this video only have 35 comments?(36 including this)
Guess most of the viewers were speechless while watching this awesome video
Fascinating video now I'm interested in seeing more videos on aquatic microbiology . Thank you JH for sharing a great video.

It was so cool seeing this under a microscope thanks for sharing
This is awesome. I am going to get one started now as I have plans to breed some of my ember tetras
Find all this very interesting JH. Nice video.
Just shows you there is life even in the most dead looking of things!

This was awesome. Keeping it good and nerdy, just the way I like it!
That's a great idea. I think I'll set one up.
That's awesome Brother ! When I run out of brine shrimps, I culture infusoria !👍😀
Great video Brother !👍😀
OneFish TwoFish is growing infusoria, I think this will be my new project, thank you
This is amazing! Very good information. I have 3 2.5 gallon tanks and I may attempt do do this! Great video, stud man!!
Thank you for this explanation, I JUST created an "infusoria culture" and I am dieing to know what Ive actually got...

Make sure you give us the update ... it's really cool with microscopic view!
Pretty cool can’t wait to see how it goes👍🏽

Great video! Such an engaging personality. Thanks for sharing!
Always enjoy your vids Joseph!
Thank you man. Im just having fun. I will only stop doing it if its not fun anymore.
Man, can you make a video showing the daily progress of infusoria under microscope?
That would be cool to see for everyone!
Thank you hi to all fish keeper

Is that you Jorge masdival?
Awesome video
If you have a snail or more to put in it realy helps.
So where do these infusoria come from? Are they already in the fish water before you add it to the boiled vegetables/plant matter? Thanks.
Great idea!!
💕👍
Did you use a special slide? What magnification?
How to harvest infusoria for fish fry?
I keep the fry in the infusoria tank.
Would it be a good idea to put a sponge filter in there or no?
