- Sonic the Hedgehog is sick. Like, poisoned sick. It’s not as if he was anticipating an attack from his arch nemesis: the Blue Blur just wanted a chili dog from his local street vendor. Shame he didn’t realise he purchased his most recent meal from Dr Eggman. Now his insides are going Sonic Boom, for lack of a better term. It’s a regular Sonic vs Eggman showdown… except entirely irregular, as it’s not happening on the ground in the Green Hill Zone. It’s time for the ‘hog’s blood cells to go Super Sonic and deal with the nefarious Dr Robotnik… all while The Kevin Bennett drops some incredible bars in this Sonic song.
Sonic Hedgehog ain’t alone, though: he’s so close to his pals that some of his best buds are fighting this internal battle with him. Tails, Knuckles, Amy Rose and more are all there. In a sense. So, turn up your speakers and ready your eyeballs for this Sonic the Hedgehog song, because it’s time to journey to another one of the Sonic frontiers in the Sonicverse saga.

I like how Sonic is portrayed as just a dude in this. He just walks to and from school casually, got tricked into eating an infectious chili dog and is now trapped in a dimensional wormhole.
Yeah I hope in the sonicverse group-up when he's running and is struggling to keep up, he gets a little help from the other sonics and learns how to tap into his sonic speed as he breaks through exhaustion.
The actual resson for the portal to come is just bc sonic saw another universe

I genuinely love how the antibodies and brain cells are depicted as Mini versions of Sonic Tails and Knuckles as well as Amy. somewhat reminds me of Databrawl for some reason.

Honestly, the aesthetics of this short would've been a MUCH better direction for Sonic Boom as a show; a more urban take on Sonic's universe.
I agree with you I'm really curious to know if there's ever going to be a modern day Sonic the hedgehog maybe the kid goes to school maybe he gets bullied maybe he makes friends with tails and knuckles you know I would really like to see some kind of high school version of Sonic the hedgehog you know just living his best life in middle school or high School thinking about college best friends you know I think that could be a really good idea because when you think about it it's never been done before it would be a completely new and original idea
I won't lie to you, that would only bring 10x the hate if the fandom ever saw Sonic dressed up like this.

I saw this and when I saw "viral" I didnt think anatomy wise. I glanced over the thumbnail so I was into a pleasant surprise for this one. Im just a fan of science so. Also, that beat goes so hard. I can just listen to the instrumental on loop. This was great

They would be killed on sight. The immune system is meant to stop ALL foreign matter, not just viruses. If it sees something it doesn't recognize, it will try and kill it.
Who knew the immune system could make such an entertaining fight against a virus? Another banger song from mashed.

My theory is that he’s a Naive T Cell, a type of immune cell that searches for pathogens but doesn’t really attack it.

In addition if Tails is a Naive T, then eventually he should mutate with age and become a Killer T cell (super Sonic cell.)

even in the mashed sonicverse, sonic still lacks common sense. any normal person would just not eat something after giving them nausea. sonic wouldve been completely fine if it was just the 1 bite, his body was winning otherwise. but nah, he almost dies because he ate the whole thing.

ok, so y'know at 2:30 and a bit before that where Sonic was having visions of supposedly him throwing a dead bunny into a cage? Well..i think this universe's Sonic was actually Metal Sonic who was disguised as Sonic. The chill, happy place this Sonic inhabits must be what Metal wants to have..a world where everything he considered good stays that way..the Eggman virus could be symbolism of how an computer virus could infect a machine. And the visions must be what Eggman wants to FORCE Metal to be like, angry, cold, and non full of life. The different anti-bodies of Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Amy, Big and Super Sonic must be the side of Metal that wants to be a hero. Seeing theese faces fighting against him taught him loyalty and honor. But Eggman..oh, he didn't want ANY of that, and thus, caused the computer virus to enter into Metal. Infecting him and possibly going on a rampage in the real world, the one that wasn't pictured in his head and had a completely dark, yet real looking artstyle. I know this might be a bit speculative sure. But this is a Sonic multiverse we're talking about! If SH Tails was able to enter into the there's something about Amy universe, and take her as her assitant. Then even other universes such as the one where Sonic lived in a Po*n world. And Sonic being a badass hero like Batman in another. Then even Metal can be affected by Multiversal universes. And thus. I rest my case. :)
It's the creative Theory but the thing is metal is still hostile in all of the games I'm pretty sure and still in the shows so to say that this virus one would be kind of weird considering in the video that Sonic's antibodies when so if he was Metal Sonic wouldn't he be non hostile

This is a song about Sonic’s immune system, but strangely its my favorite out of the three.
You have no idea how disappointing it was to learn that white cells just surround viruses and kill that way rather than an epic fight.
The bars were so sick, it seemed for a second that the Robotnikinin was working.
