Thanks for sharing! Great stones you used there, for protecting it. My soil is full of stones, so I should have no problem doing this.

love this - i've successfully done this with other shrubs, but always in autumn, and it means I never have to worry too much about watering - not tried with rhodies though - fingers crossed!

I wish I was young enough to have the time to do this. Oh well, off to the nursery.

I've just air layered three branches of this particular variety. How soon should I expect to see roots? In year two or year three? It's on a fairly young plant. nothing as spectacular as the ones in your video.

Amazing and very informative video! Will this also work for wild Himalayan rhododendron? There is a huge rhododendron (Rhododendron arboreum) forest above our house in village and I want to plant some trees around our lawn.

the only sound effects you need whilst gardening are provided by nature we find. Perfect birdsong, and the sound of a mower on a spring afternoon (preferably in the distance of course).

Nice video but Mike kinkade on RUclips takes cutting on all but one or two and has at least 85 percent success rate look up his videos. Thanks

I think he specified for the large leaf variety here. Must be the regular or small propagate fine
