    I love this little pig! Your tutorial was very clear and easy to understand. I used plush yarn and it turned out great. I am going to use the safety eye but attach the backs to them at the step right before stuffing. I will be making many more, it works up very quick and is so adorable! Thank you for posting this video, you are a great teacher!!

    Just beautiful!
    I followed the written instructions which were very clear.
    I loved that there were no sewing parts too.
    * A word of caution though, when making it for a young child please embroide the eyes and the nostrils, and make it bigger, little kids will put it in their mouth specially when it's sooooo cute.
    Thanks...
    Beautiful work, love it!
    Thanks.

    I used buttons and sewed them on for a derpy look. I also attatched a plastic loop to the tail so u can put it on backbacks n' such. I plan on putting a mohack on it for extra derpness.

    i would consider myself an intermediate/experienced crocheter but im sorry this tutorial was super difficult for me to follow along with. i find myself putting down my work in frustration. maybe in another video you could take time and describe your actions slower? i loved your completed work i'm just very confused as to how you got there. thanks

    • @strawberrymatcha17
      @strawberrymatcha17 2 года назад +3

      I think it really depends on what type of crochet you are used to. I'd consider myself intermediate, however these types of patterns are the only ones I use find easy. But it could just be practice with these specific ways of using the stitches since that's what I started out on. If you would like to do similar projects that are the same style, but have more detailed tutorials for practice purposes, I'd check out club crochet. They are very step by step and incredibly simple to follow along with as well as showing specific things like the magic ring in the beginning

    • @dominiquewilka6510
      @dominiquewilka6510 2 года назад +6

      I agree. My piggy came out pretty adorable, but when she is increasing from 6 to 9 and doing a SC 3 times, she is not doing that in the video, so I thought it was me but I think its the video and what she is saying and what is written. Cause to increase, and she says and writes 3 times, that’s going in the same hole. So am I wrong? Cause she moves to the next loop and her work isn’t growing like mine. So confused.

    • @strawberrymatcha17
      @strawberrymatcha17 2 года назад +3

      @@dominiquewilka6510 inc 3 means to increase into the following 3 separate stitches. If it were in the same it would be a variation of a bobble stitch

    • @MaryAshleyB
      @MaryAshleyB 2 года назад +1

      @@dominiquewilka6510 I can help! So when it says something like, "inc, sc 2," that means put two single crochet into one (which increases your stitch count) and then single crochet one stitch into the next two stitches from the previous round. You repeat those steps three times, to go from 9 to 12, for example. You're bringing up your stitch count by 3, evenly around the round.
      I hope that helped! I've done this pattern a lot so I like helping out with it. 🙂

    • @heathercombs9217

      I used invisible decrease on my teeny tiny one and regular decrease on weight 4 3.5 MM hook. The original written patten says 2tog. Which is your normal decrease.
      I always use a marker for crocheting in the spiral. It was hard to use a plastic marker on my tiny one so I used yarn. Much easier. So to answer both questions... I'd say personal preference 😍
