Waakye is very humble and has given the elderly the chance to lead. That's peaceful and respectful 👏👏
Our Creator should give more lives to these legends. We must celebrate them more. Asonaba Kwabrafoso Obuasi

God bless these 4 national treasures. While they still live and breathe, Ghana should honour them. This is amazing.
Kofi these legends have to be awarded.

Mamee Dorkunu is very beautiful woman she's grown but still beautiful
These are the right celebrities not the one that we have right now These people have impact in us when we're growing up They need to be celebrated.
She is pretty and sexy with a beautiful smile.
David and Maame Dokono has set a very good example to the youth. When u date and break up it doesn't mean u should be enemies. The youth should stop friends today enemies tomorrow movement. God bless all the legends
David Dontoh has really taken good care of himself
Yes ooo. He has not changed at all. And Maame Dorkono too.
Amankwah Ampofo is older than him.. Age also count
Yes
Kofi, well done for bringing the group together. These legends have really been forgotten. Keep up the good work. You have really revived my memories of the good old days. You are the best.
The LIVING LEGENDS of our time
This milestone interview is highly commendable! Congratulations to you all. You folks are really legends. We love you and celebrate you as well. Thanks Bro. Kofi for this program.
Happy to hear Maame Dokono saying she regrets involving in politics. Such a legend. Fine actress following evil Ghanaian politicians.
Was younger and naive, she Just wanted to explore
Ghana should celebrate theses legends, they are history, ghana forgets peopke to fast, they brought alot of impact into peoples lives, i live in canada and my dad had all the tapes of obra and all the groups, lets celebrate them now they deserve it.
Ghana forget people fast...cos we are ungrateful as a people and have allowed some bad part of the foreign cultures to invade our market
@@jerryham3405 ur right we have lost alot of our culture and copying the foreign lifestyle its not good. These legends taught us great life lesson that alot of us learned from they deserve more respect and appreciation from ghana.
Kofi this is one of the best group interviews so far . Kofi asked them if they can still perform ? Those of us abroad really wish some of their drama will be on Netflix .
So so happy seeing these legends here, Kyekye ku lee! May the almighty give you more years .
The comedy has been too much in our movies these days. These people actually thought us life lessons. Everything was so practical with a lot of moral lessons. God bless them
You guys have served your Country with your whole lives. God bless you!
I love this conversation. Brilliant narration and great memory from these fine actors.
Good Job 👏🏽 to you all you made me laugh those day ehh I quite remember I have to run and stand at my uncle’s window to watch his coloured TV 😀 this world is so funny
Nana Ama McBrown should interview the Obra group as part of their 40th Anniversary.
Yes ooh. Too many useless bleaching ahyawos parading as celebrities
I agree 👍💯👏👌🙌
I wish you can Start from the Beginning ( the KETEKE FAME ) OBRA CAME OUT OF KETEKE, I WAS ONE OF THEM, THE GOOD OLD DAYS
Exactly it will be nice
These elders have brought to us great memories. You have done so well for decades. You took away people's worries and pain and planted laughter on people's mouths. You have contributed immensely to Ghana's entertainment industry.Give these people the resources and they can write, direct and produce movies that will address issues of relevance, morality and development.
Well said.
We're so proud of you guys we appreciate you and may God continue to bless you all ♥️♥️♥️
It will be nice to see this group back God bless them all
My people my joy, memories I grew up with... I love them so much 💕
I agreed with Waakye, bc he was always playing a joker. So I understand why ppl will think he's not educated which is wrong. Gh for u! Glad to see the love u guys have!🥰🥰🥰🥰

Obra Church of Christ International: Rev. Osofo Maame Grace. Still a very beautiful woman.
Well done done Kofi for bringing them together so interesting to hear these stories
I particularly was so so impacted by the lessons of Obra especially when it comes to relationship and the need to persevere in life. Kudos to all of them especially David Dontoh and my TV crush. 😛
When I look at them I learn to take real good care of my life and serve God well...cos beauty is indeed vanity
Wow growing is something ooo Mr.
Amankwa Ampofu was my secret admirer ooo I loved his ekwiapim language
David is looking good, continue to age gracefully! Blessings!💞💞💞💞
Who's here bcos of these two movie veterans of our métropolitan.. .........🍁
False preaching and false prophesies have brought about divisions in families, organizations and suspicions such that people's support to many are being misinterpreted. All these notwithstanding we must continue to give for a worthy cause. We should remember what these stalwarts have done in times past and contribute whatever we can to support them.God bless you Kofi for bringing these together.
Maame dokono was the queen at that time.
Waakye was more popular. All of them made Ghana 🇬🇭 proud 🥲 God will continue to bless you.Ataa nkwan dee enye Dr.
These legends have really impacted society positively. They deserve public recognition. They really jelled and made acting so real. I remember I could cry watching their tragedy shows
Very true.
I wish to get Maame Dokorno's number if possible to show my appreciation and impact she has made in my life through by the fireside
The legends God bless you Obra never disappoint
David Donkor was giving me current affairs and Akan proverbs on Agrooo
I am afraid the name is David Dontoh not Donkor
@@akuathompson786 and so. That's none of ur business. How would you know if it's a typing error or not

EFO KOFI. PLEASE YOU NEED TO RAISE FUNDS TO SAY THANK YOU TO THESE PEOPLE ON BEHALF OF GHANAIANS 🇬🇭
My dream is to hug Maame Dokono one day. Bra Kofi you're going to hit half a million views on this show in less than 2 Months.
We wanna see Obra on tv again.
Great interview. They are talking about 40 yrs anniversary. *So how old is Waakye?* Guy still looks young
I think he's 60
60 years +
Wow! He looks so young. They've all taken good care of themselves.
Qmg prince yawson alias waakye still looks good , he as realy grown well paa nice to see him
Legends of our time, may God bless you all.
Kumawood should come and learn something here...they are saying facts 🤔👍
Thanks kofi for showing the pictures that's wise of you 👍🏾
Obra, one of the best. They come after Osofo Dadzi group. One of their best acting was David Dontoh marrying two wives- Attaa and Maame Dokono. I vividly remember Kofi Abrante3 saying ,"Attaa nkwan, 3tes3 3po. Meaning Attaa's soup is like the sea. Tasteless".
david and maame dokono still hv a thing...she loved him. They cute together😂😂
I love this
Enjoying this interview, the best ever! U guys r making my day! Love u guys! 💖💖💖💖
Is the advert for me?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤩🤩
You people can Still act. Please Come out and act. Please. You can ACT.
Legends, thanks for all the entertainments!🥰🥰🥰🥰
Osofo waakye!🤩
Please start the obra again because is more Educative than kumawood
Why not promote and start an Obra RUclips channel and forget about TV stations. 40 years ago was GTV, today is RUclips. You'll make another impact on the youth again and especially the youth of today
Nic to meet again
They should show it on tv for the youth to know something from it.
David, Amankwaah and Maame Dokono, can we get a Clip from Keteke time, some of the Old Keteke Stars want to see some of the Old Movies, Plea
Agrooooooooooooooooo! No lebi lebi! Lol good old days, my childhood behind a black and white TV was made by these legends 😁 love to see them again in good health and thankful they are not begging like TT
I love these people.
Amankwa was so handsome
Fred addi3 and kojo kwakye will always be my men lol
The only thing I didn't like about GBC is they would always show Talking Point before Akan Drama 🙄. Most of us would wait what felt like eternity before Akan Drama would start. Talking Point was such a nuisance to me at the time.
Obra was the best, how can i get the tapes i would love to have all the series pls am in canada anybody can help me would be great.
It's on RUclips. Just type "Obra maame dokono".
@@amen6313 ok thank you.
@@heavenlyfunadventures sure....you're welcome.
Great interview
Let's not forget to honor the memories of Station Master and Esi Kom. There was also the man who used to serve as a waiter at the Obra spot in the shows - Otwe 'stick' in mpusu was a menu item.
