She is not only a talented artist but a down-to-earth and humble human being. I still remember the days that I listened to and sang her songs in 1990s. She will always live in my heart.

If Coco married an Asian guy, she would have been cared for and not left abandoned and die with a broken heart. Instead she chose to marry a white old man who was already married with two old daughters. The worse decision she ever made.

This is the first time I hear her talking. I was kinda surprised that she didn't sound like a "typical celebrity", but a girl you go to school with. She was famous, talented, beautiful, yet so down to earth.
Edit: I wouldn't call myself a fan, but I grew up knowing Coco Lee and listened to many of her songs. The day I heard the news of her passing, I watched her performance for two straight hours and cried so hard. I just felt the great loss. I hope she is in a better place now.

Her husband was the bad apple. He abandoned her when she was in the hospital. Not only did she suffer from cancer, but she died of a broken heart.
I used to dislike Coco but after watching this interview, I have changed my view on her, she is a good person and what she has archived in her life was remarkable, very few Asian artists can do something like her, i am so sorry for this and wish she can rest in peace in heaven!

Coco didn't lose him, he abandoned her during the time she was in the hospital. He went out with other women at that time. He's a heartless person. He was a white old man. If she had an Asian husband, she'd still be alive and happy because Asian men care for their spouse till the very end.

I fell in love with "A Love Before Time" as much as I did the movie "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon." Thankfully, CoCo Lee did the song because I fell in love with her voice, her personality, and her artistry. I've been a fan ever since. :^)

To be honest, she has slight Chinese accent. She went to the US when she was 10, which means she's not a native English speaker. To be fair, she speaks excellent English, pronunciation and perfect grammar. I don't know why people bitchy about it.
