I really appreciate you talking about your reference process! A lot of artists (I used to be one of them) don't realize that using reference is *good* and recommended, not something that devalues your art. Very lovely painting! I find your videos so soothing, and sometimes I'll watch the ASMR ones to help calm me before bed.
I actually don't like to draw just like the photo, so I understand the feelings of such artists. However, when I wanted to draw a dreamy picture, I wanted to draw more realistically, so I started preparing multiple references 😊
I love how the flower in the center seems to glow in her hands! It makes me think of ghosts or magic. The white and gold almost has like a elegant feeling to it in contrast. Perfect amount of spooky beauty for this time of year!

Spectacular like usual. I saw u painted plenty of nice flowers & plants, so I will like to see u paint a goddess like figure, especially Japanese one like kichijoten or benzaiten with lotus flowers. Lotus is my utmost cherished flower along with botan or tree peony as its prominently used in my art design motifs. Someday u will paint it I wish. ❤

私は描く作業を「沈める」と「前に出す」に意識的に分けて作業していくので浮き上がるというのはその通りだと思います🥰🎨
お彼岸だし、私も実は彼岸花は好きなので、以前描かれたのを真似て描いてみました。あ、この花はこういう造りになってたんだ、って発見もあり楽しかったです。
今回の作品はリアルでとても真似はできないですが、描き込みの様子が興味深かったです。そして白い彼岸花の美しい事‼️
描き込むシーンを見ているだけで夢見心地になってしまいました。

Very smooth paper works well. If you use watercolor paper, I should use hot pressed paper.

胡粉ネイルを混色して作った色なんですが気に入りすぎて絵の爪も寄せて描いてしまいました🥳

彼岸花ってよく言われるように、グロテスクな妖しさと繊細な造形の微妙なバランスを感じさせる花ですね。
葉を出さず、他の草花に混じってひっそりと花茎を伸ばし、ある日突然そこに出現したように咲いて、また消えてゆく…そのミステリアスな生態が、毒々しい色合いや実際に毒を持つ、という特性もあいまって、妖女のような魅力を感じさせます。
この絵のもつ、花に呪いをかけているような、それでいてこの女性自身も花に絡め取られているような…という雰囲気も、よく曼珠沙華（こっちの名称の方が好き❤️）のイメージを捉えてらっしゃるような気がします。
そういえば、曼珠沙華は他の作物が採れない時の救荒作物として使われ、丹念に毒素を抜けばデンプンが採れるとか。
毒の塊でもあり、季節を彩る花でもあり、また困った時のお助け食料でもあり…
必要悪、というものもあるものだし、縁起が悪い、といいながらも、人々の生活にはなくてはならないものだったのですね。
曼殊沙華って天界の花みたいな意味でしたよね！私もその呼び名好きです🥰
球荒作物⁉そういえばこの動画をアップした後にお勧めで彼岸花を食べている人のサムネイルの動画が上がってたけどまさか下処理して食べる動画だったのかな…見てみればよかったです🤣

僕もアナログで絵を描くのでお気持ちよくわかります。
重ね塗り、ボカシなど無限にやってしまうので「やり過ぎ」にならないよう冷静な判断も必要ですよねw
滲みのムラを残すかボカすか、ハイライトの大きさや量、足し算引き算を駆使して完成させるのはデジタルでは味わえない醍醐味です。
水分量でスリルを味わえるのも水彩の楽しさであり、計算通りにいったときの喜びは何にも変え難い、画材は素晴らしいと感じる瞬間です。
デジタルはスリルも何も無いのでストレス皆無なのは良いのか悪いのか・・・未だに答えは出てませんw

デジタルはデータを間違えて消しちゃうミスのスリルを何回か味わっているのですが最近気が付いたことは、バックアップ機能ちゃんとオンにしとこうということ🙃

九州に行くと沢山咲いているところあるみたいですよ😊
本州でもたまに見かけますが地域によってはレアだと思います！
私は陰影薄めなのであまりうまく教えられませんが影を入れる場所は、まんべんなく光が当っている場合メイクでシェーディングする場所が良いと思っています🙋ハイライトとシェーディングの位置はメイクアップ動画を見ると勉強になりますよ

顔彩は乾くのにどれくらいの時間を要しますか?
画仙紙の絵葉書サイズで考えています。

画仙紙だと水分を結構保持しますので、その日の湿度とかによってもかなり変わります。
梅雨だと全然乾きませんね😅
絵の具の滲みの広がりとかが落ち着いたら、いったんドライヤーを使って紙の深いところまでしっかり乾かすと安心ですよ！
