If it doesn't bring you joy.... glad you arent going to stress over Linen anymore. You need to enjoy your stitching otherwise you won't do it. I can't wait to stitch along with the O'Beautiful pattern.
You shared so many great patterns!! So glad that you are using your beautiful project bags. If you don't like stitching snowflakes maybe see on snowflake buttons here & there.🪡🪡🪡
You are stitching your advent calendar exactly like I stitch. Border first, then all the white, then all the numbers...... great stitchers stitch alike! I am also a Sulky 12 WT bright white and black user - all I have used for several years.
Great to see you Arttie, and glad you are feeling more relaxed. You are good to do the backstitching! I won’t even do a project with back stitching, lol. My coworker Michelle loves it! Can you imagine😂 I do love Kim’s new design, and when I saw it at retreat, I thought she knocked it out of the park. I might stitch it too, and just change to a Canadian flag, and no text. Love barns❤ I think I have been following you for 1.5 or 2 years. I’m currently stitching You Are My Sunshine from FQS. It’s the one with the fabric that is 1/4 beige and 3/4 blue to look like sand and sky. So bright and cheerful
I also Love to Kit🙌🏼🙌🏼. I have three baskets full, and I’m still kitting new stuff🤦♀️. I’m also trying to finish some old WHIPS, but I get bored too. Variety is the spice of life… right?!!! Thanks for sharing your kits, and enabling me to go back on Etsy to “browse “😅. Glad you’re back!!! Denise
Hi Arttie! I subscribed to your channel back at episode 4. I like the Friends & Family progress. Good approach with using backstitching to highlight areas, but leaving other areas alone (such as the hats). Good ol' white 14 count Aida - that's what I"m stitching on with the Dimensions kit I picked up that I'm finishing. Love the stitching. Good luck with the flowers and garden! Have a good weekend everyone!!
I love Aida!!! It is my friend!!! Thank you for your floss tube. I like that you say what your struggles are and your strength!!! I need to watch your floss tube!
So glad to see your video today. I don’t know how long I have watched you; my son lives in Michigan so I feel like that is my connection to you. I love “O Beautiful “. I am going to try to get this one. Thanks for sharing!
You’re a girl after my own heart! ❤️. So fun to see the Charles Wysocki chart. I stitched all 4 pieces about 20 years ago and they hang as a grouping in my living room. I absolutely love them!!! And they are my favorite jigsaw puzzles to work.
I'm the same way as you with gardening. I have a brown thumb. When I got married, my sisters gave me a couple of small cactus plants thinking no one can kill a cactus. Guess what, I nearly did. My husband took them to work and was able to revive one of them. I can grow tomatoes, parsley, and basil. Parsley is surprisingly simple to grow and doesn't need much attention. I've been feeling exactly like you lately, right down to boredom with current projects, several new starts, and a wonderful husband.
Geraniums and marigolds. Good choice with all the deer you have. We have to fence in our garden so it doesn’t turn into a deer salad bar! I started the Christmas village back in January and am ready to pick it up again with you in July.
I'm such an Aida girl too! I can do linen, I know how but I enjoy Aida much more! Oh, and I adore the use of the variegated thread on that amber waves of grain! It's going on my list!
It was great seeing you Arttie. You sure are going to be busy with all those starts. I just came back from Stitch Con and want to do it ALL so I’m sure I’ll have a couple of new starts also. Have a wonderful week…. Debbie
I have several Charles Wysocki jigsaw puzzles, and I love them. I think I even have the one with that barn of overflowing pumpkins! And I think on your Christmas piece that stitching the snowflakes would defeat the purpose of the printed fabric. Let it shine through like it was meant to.
A super video as always! I immediately went to Etsy and bought the garden shed NARAX stitches pattern, it's really pretty! I definitely want to start it soon. Thanks for sharing. Winter is here in full force in SA ... so enjoy your lovely summer weather and gardening.
So nice to see you back and happy, yes me too I like to accumulate patterns and kits but I promise myself no more buying, I need to start stitch from big box full of stuff. Easy said than done 😂
Had a thought, as I struggle also with black & white patterns...when coloring with your grandchildren, what if you colored in a black & white pattern? Serves 2 purposes? Might try it myself, as coloring is so relaxing. Love Charles Wysocki too...can't wait 😊to see it finished! Always a pleasure visiting with you!
I've only been here a few months. It's wonderful to see you happy again. Great video. Thank you for sharing your time with all of us. Have a great weekend. Happy Stitching.
So happy to see your notification pop up today!! I love the last two patterns you found. So pretty! Looking forward to seeing your kits! Happy stitching!❤
As soon as I saw “oh beautiful” on Kim and jades flosstube I can’t quit thinking about it. So this is my second sign I’m convinced now. I’m going to go order it in the kit now that you showed it. It really does look amazing when finished . So much for “I’m not buying anything else” since I have so many other patterns to start . Oh yea I just remembered I got a new project bag that’s empty - so I have to fill it with this kit right? 😜
I agree with your limited backstitching idea. Also, I don’t always go with “suggested “ floss colors, especially when I’m pulling floss from my stash for a pattern. Customization is fun!
It’s always good to see a new video from you! I needed some happiness and inspiration today! I deal with anxiety and depression and for some reason, this year has been really rough. Thanks for sharing this video today and for cheering me up!
You're my kind of gardener! Lol....buy a few flowers, and be done with it. I use Aida too. I'm not gonna stress out about it either. Love your projects. Thanks for a fun video.
Lilies are very hardy and they come every year. Not summer here yet. Nothing but rain for weeks. We did get a couple of days of sunshine and the grass is a vibrant green so that’s something, I guess lol.
It's good to see you so excited Arttie! NaraxStitch patterns are beautiful and it's hard to choose just one. Do you have fencing around your vegetable garden? The deer treat my veggie garden like a buffet 😒 Happy stitching and have a great week!!
Love your progress on your wips. Love the new sampler you bought from etsy, but I cannot find the store. Can you please give me a link to this store? Happy stitching!

Always happy to see your videos. All your kits make me feel a lot better about my stash. 😅

Love you! You make my day! Wish we were neighbors. Now I need to buy more kits!
I always enjoy your videos. I only stitch on 14 count Aida because it is what I love. Thanks for sharing all your beautiful projects. You are awesome😊

Thank you for the great info on using Sulky 12wt in 16/32 ct!! I love your Advent Calendar in the darker brown fabric - it will be gorgeous!
Great way to begin the day. Thank you for sharing.
Geraniums and marigolds. Good choice with all the deer you have. We have to fence in our garden so it doesn’t turn into a deer salad bar! I started the Christmas village back in January and am ready to pick it up again with you in July.
Thank you for your inspirational videos & sharing of your cross stitch projects! I always look forward to your posts! Have a great weekend!❤️
So good to see you up and happy again! Great video! 👏👏👏👏

I logs that the pattern calls for the DMC variations rather than a super fancy floss.
I've only been here a few months. It's wonderful to see you happy again. Great video. Thank you for sharing your time with all of us. Have a great weekend. Happy Stitching.
Thanks for the info on Sulky thread. I also enjoy stitching on Aida 16 & 18 CT and often struggle to determine how many strands of floss to use.
So happy to see your notification pop up today!! I love the last two patterns you found. So pretty! Looking forward to seeing your kits! Happy stitching!❤

Arti could you tell me the name of the Etsy designer that you bought your samplers, thank you
Hi Artie ,l love Aida also ,l have never worked on evenweave ,and don’t think l ever will .
I am a monogamous Stitcher, but lately, I've been putting kits together, too.

I keep looking at the Baltimore album piece on the wall behind you. Would you share the chart name and designer?
I have no idea where it came from. I stitched that back in the 1990's.
Looking for the Nara Stitches link

Yes. Project bags get lonely too.
