It’s an Australian 8ply (DK weight), if you’re in Australia it’s Spotlight’s 4 Seasons Marvel, the blanket is in Duck Egg and the border in Natural, I used the recommended hook size - 4mm. Hope that helps! 👩🏻🦼
Oh, meant to say, it looks great in yarn that’s thinner than what I demonstrated with here but people have shown me how it’s worked out in worsted weight and that looked good too!

Way too complicated.... Gave up and just did single crochet border
I don't understand the math at all , if you have an odd no. and add 2 to it, it will give you an odd no.
What yarn and hook is used here ?
