- Every October, Naha City in Okinawa, Japan, holds the world's largest tug of war competition.
The event is partially organized by the karate community in Okinawa, and safety volunteers come from the American Chamber of Commerce in Okinawa. You may be able to spot some famous karateka in the video.

I stumbled upon this channel and saw this video. When I was stationed at Kadena, AB I participated in this tug of war. So much fun and so many friendly people. I still have the piece of rope that I was given. Side note: the side I was on won, lol.
Congrats on the win! Please share with others Kadena friends who might enjoy bringing back a few memories .
