    I watched all 4 parts and thanks for the great info. I do see, however, this is over 5 years old. Is this info still relevant or has anything changed? And if so can you do an update video? Thanks!

    They made a criteria to make a definition between SBR's and pistols. If you meet 4 or more definitions then you have an SBR. They added a clause that says if they think you're trying to circumvent the NFA even if you don't truly meet the criteria they'll still define your pistol as an SBR so even if your gun isn't the correct weight, length, and such to be an SBR if they decide to, they'll STILL say your rifle is an SBR. They've basically turned millions of americans into felons overnight, so if anyone is found to have a rifle designed pistol then you'll practically have to immediately dispose of it unless you want to be convicted of a federal crime and no longer get to own guns. It's like they did this on purpose so that they can criminalize so many people into no longer being allowed to own any guns.

    Well, thanks for this video. I'm still confused, but slightly less so. Will continue watching the series to gain more insight. Much appreciated, and subbed.

    Great video. I hadn't thought much about this and only own 'regular' handguns, but I'm going to explore the law here in NC about inheriting firearms. Thanks!

    Great concept of your show, all about firearms & everything you need to know from A -Z, pertaining to the responsibilities & legalities that's involved. I'm a recent subscriber & look forward to every episode. It's always good to be reminded & keep current of new developments of the ever changing firearms industry, as a gun owner I feel this should become part of your routine.

    Outstanding and informative! I don’t have a trust! (Other than for our retirement) What I want to do is apply for a family trust for me, my wife and our three sons. And then that’s it! Is that a workable solution?

    You don't need an attorney to establish a trust. Many gun stores that sell NFA items are equipped and usually create trusts for free.

    "The right to keep & bear arms shall not be infringed" Definition of infringed: "actively break the terms of (a law, agreement, etc) act so as to limit or undermine (something); encroach on." So the federal government is actively breaking the highest law of our land & is undermining, limiting or encroaching on our Constitutional right to bear arms. And is the ATF a legal agency? I thought that after Waco Texas that the ATF was going to be abolished. The AT part I guess is legal but I think the F part is unconstitutional. Mind you this is not legal advise (because I'm not a lawyer) but these are questions I have bounced around my brain. Just myself expressing my First Amendment Right.

      Legal definition is different from that google def. you quoted.
      If I could find my cable for my 2TB hard drive I'd give you the def. from black's law dictionary. If you reply to this comment I will do my best to find that cord to give you that definition.

      Yes. ATF requires proof of stamp/trust at all times. Keep a copy anywhere it goes.

    • @Learningfirearms
      @Learningfirearms  6 лет назад +1

      Depends on their role but they would have to have a copy of the trust and have all responsible parties sign

    • @williammorales9185
      @williammorales9185 6 лет назад

      I formed an LLC many years ago when I bought my first suppressor. I don't know how it works under a trust but I as an individual representative, in this case President/Owner of my LLC, I had to do a form 4473 because a suppressor is considered to be a firearm. So in addition to the 11 month wait on NFA paperwork and tax stamp, I also had to do form 4473 on both of my suppressors before I could take possession of my Ear-Health and Hearing-Loss Prevention devices. (my health insurance should be paying for my sound suppressors. lol.)
      So, I don't know how it works under a trust but under an LLC, at lease in Texas, a person(could be my CFO, or any other Principal/Partner) must pass a background check....Perhaps I should switch to a Trust instead.

    • @Learningfirearms
      @Learningfirearms  6 лет назад

      William, even with a trust the individual picking up the item has to complete a 4473 and nics check.
