If it is your first time beating the game, you know mono sits in the chair at the end right? So, when you play the game again and get to the door you open where mono/the thin man is in, is basically the first mono you played as.

I heard that she dropped him because she sees his face. She knows the Thin Man’s face because she gets taken by him into the TV realm, and when Six catches him, he doesn’t have his bag on his head, so she sees the face she saw on the Thin Man, and she dropped him into the abyss, thinking it would kill him and stop the Thin Man from existing. (This is just a theory I heard, and I like some of the explanations/ theories I’ve seen before replied to me. This theory is based on the assumption that six does not know she is in a time loop. I feel like if she had known it was a loop, she would have dropped him anyways, assuming he’d slow her down in the long run, or she was mad at him for what his future self did to her, whether as an attempt to save himself from his own fate, or because he is controlled by the tower, or maybe when she was taken into the tower, she did lose all sense of morals or was taken over by the tower herself, which is why she supposedly goes back to the Maw in the secret ending of the game, since the events of the second game canonically are after the events of the first, and Six likely wasn’t hungry or using her soul siphoning ability due to the time loop.)

The Thin Man is also stated within a trailer for LN2, by someone involved this game about a evil and as he talks about it, The Thin Man appears on the screen. It's pretty obvious that The Thin Man is in charge of the Signal Transmission and The Tower, but there seems to be some sorta thing where if you defeat the Tower's original occupant, leader or whatever, you replace them. In the sixth digital comic, the main antagonist bares a lot of resemblence to The Thin Man: from the way of using the shadows to capture kids, the transmission signal sound, if you brighten the image he's wearing a suit and also looks a lot like The Thin Man, an elderly old man with a suit.

Mono is the thin man but he's not evil, he just wanted to have a friend and he also have fear of being alone so when six dropped him his nightmare of being alone came true and he wanted to save him self from all of that

I love to think that when you and six escape the hunter and headed to the school via floating door, you see the buildings in the city moving, I like to think that was mono moving them after he beat thin tall man
No the reason why six let mono go off to the abyss because she herself was infected by the tower's energy, mono helped her all the way so thats why she didn't want to hurt him. If we got further into the game we see that six was just hungry which makes eat anything she sees, a person for example. She does try to control her burger but she fails miserably.

Mono is not thin man, Thin man is acually just thin man. When mono asorbed thin man thin man was acually not dead he was badically "Using" Mono's body for a while. When me see mono turning into thin man at the end he is not acually growing up, It is just thin man slowly forming back. Mono is dead, and the reason why six dropped mono was because she felt thin man's presense in mono knowing its not mono. Thin man is just waiting for another child to warp into the tv so he can gain more power from them.
Theory two, Mono is still in the tv and all of this happened in his head and it was a manipulation and six never pulled him out.
Last Theory, When six woke up at the start of LN1 she realized that none of this truely happened and that it was truely a nightmare.
I have 2 other theories 1. Its shadow six's exsistince combining with six which messes things up because shes supposed to be dead to have the shadow 2. She believes mono is no longer useful and will slow her down

guys, a lot of the info on youtube and online in regards to the games is extremely outdated. The pro theorists uncovered a lot of information since the games release, they said the developers gave a lot of info on the twitter page and in interviews to understand the lore. When the developers where asked about why Six betrayed Mono, they said Six's perspective was different from Monos and the players, that "Extracting someone from a fantasy can be deeply upsetting for everyone involved". When someone on Twitter commented that escapism is given through the TVs for the Viewers, the music box for Six, and fan art from the fandom, the official Little Nightmares Twitter account simply states, "Indeed. More of you understand the pain that Mono caused Six than you realize".

Well I heard that it was because of that Six has already gotten infected with the static, as it showed in chapter 3 where Six was breaking the crawling hand’s fingers, that she is becoming more insane throughout the game.

We also have to remember that Six’s betrayal doesn’t really need any more justification other than the fact that she is a child. She has been kidnapped three times, lost a part of her soul, was turned into a monster of herself, and eventually lost the only item that really comforted her throughout the series, her music box. Even though it was necessary to save six, when mono destroyed the music box, we see that Six is willing to risk her life to protect her music box, willing to fight off one of her only actual friends to protect this music box because it was the only thing actually keeping her sane. When she lost the music box, she most likely lost whatever humanity she had left.
It’s pretty clear to say that the darkest theme of a little nightmares are not the blood or gore or implications of The Maw. The darkest part of Little nightmares is thinking about everything that happens to these children, psychologically speaking.

Well before six's story comes my story firstly
I have a theory :
If you have read the LN Comics you can see the resemblances between the twin chefs (LN1) and the lollipop kid (LNC) and between the Unnamed boy (LNC) and the Janitor (LN1), right? Well, I think they became monsters after being kidnapped by the Thin Man, so I think, since Six was also kidnapped by the Thin Man she should’ve became a monster too (Monster Six) but since Mono saved her, when she gets out from the TV after dropping Mono, she gets hungry. What if it was a kind of curse or something because she escaped from the Signal Tower and because the process of making her into a monster didn’t have enough time?
The LNC kids were turned into monsters by the Mask Lady tho. . .

The whole game of little nightmares two she didn’t eat a single thing and she knew that she would be hungry enough to eat him. Thin Man trying to prevent Mono to capture Six everytime but in doing so, he did not know that Six would be corrupted by the same Nightmares that tried to control him. So in retaliation, he gives his powers to Mono, his old self, to try to save Six and turning himself against his own

Here's my theory on why Six dropped Mono
She was betrayed (in her eyes) by Mono when she's captured by the Thin Man, so when she's holding Mono's hand and can see his face as the face that captured her, she knows that he can't help her. He turns into someone who hurts her, who tries to capture her.

Also The janitor is a kid from an LN comic he was trapped inside the tower which caused his face to lower and deform becuase the tower consumes the viewers and the ones inside it for too long basically manifesting and discovering their future selves and memories even youre still not there.

It is worse than that. She needed his power to escape through the static. She drains a bit of his power before dropping him, which is why kid Mono will always win, he is stronger because he hasn't been drained yet.
I think the reason six dropped mono was because at the start six is seen alone and has no one to depend upon until mono showed up six just follows him and isn't sure what to do it's only when they start to form a bond that six trusts mono entirely so at the end when six shows mono her music box which was the only thing keeping her company in the hunters shack and mono starts to attack it six feels a great sense of betrayal. My theory: the thin man(mono) caused his own demise. Let me elaborate, the thin man captures six because of her betrayal, this causes six to be corrupted, mono then uncorrupts six. However six is left without a soul, causing her to do unspeakable things. Like let go of mono, and eat a gnome.

Very little nightmares shows Six still was trying to escape first but allowed some help and with the help she got she tried to give it back but failed trying and in the 2nd LN she tried to help but Mono wasn't listening to her and he betrayed her first and she saw mono for the first time without a bag after she saw the thin man and they looked alike so she didn't want to risk getting herself in more danger like Mono has been putting her in the whole game
How was Mono putting her in danger? What was he supposed to do sit with her in one room for the whole game? They needed to progress to escape the city and he was helping her and saving her multiple times along the way
@bunsie_onesie they weren't escaping, Mono helped save Six from the basement yeah, but right after he started to be lured by the transmission, while Six started to follow him because they were helping each other, until she realized how dangerous he was and the dangers he put her in

2. She tried her best to pull him up but she lost her grip and she still feels sorry for him to this day

This is just a theory. The real version is not explained by the Developers. I will put forward another theory. After becoming a monster, Six had amnesia, which made her not remember Mono, and when he smashed her music box, she felt threatened by him, so when they ran away, due to amnesia, resentment, and fear of the Thin Man, who had previously imprisoned her in the TV, leaving only a glitchy shadow of her, she saw how much Mono's pointed face was similar to the Thin Man's, she lets go Mono out of fear, after which she watches him fall with regret and then goes away.

Actually... the thin man ripped Six's soul out (the shadowy glitch you see at one of the secret endings of the game) causing her to lose a bit of her humanity (her hunger is also a side effect of this) and she no longer saw Mono as a friend, only an enemy that needed to be eliminated.
This is actually because of sixes hunger. She dropped him because she didnt want to eat him, you know what she eats when shes hungry.

1. turn into a monster and then get pissed off when we as mono broke his musicbox
2. she drop us or mono into a fuckin* pit that not knowing if we alive or not. (high posibility intend to kill us)
3. before she or six get suck into the tv by TM, she never hungry. after she get out from the tv she become monster. Then she get out from portal, we got her starving and her shadow clone (probably her soul).
so, six causes a loop that turning mono become tm.

Another part you missed is that thin man is trying to save mono not harm him since they are the same person and that’s most likely the reason he took six also to give power to the signal tower. Six also most likely got the curse from the tower
