Hi Ellis, I know this is a stretch, but Mbombela Stadium in South Africa, home to rugby and football games is extremely unique to the South African nature and culture. I think this would be amazing for a South African football experience
Sounds awesome! I know this makes me a bellend but its my job to share as a West Wing enthusiast. There is no levels to unique, it either is or isn't. Cant be extremely, incredibly, very unique etc
As someone from Slovakia, iam happy that more people will now know that this stadium is in our country😀 Edit:btw you should have asked someone from the team about the train, if you said you are making a video they would probably run the train
I love dragging your friends to do absolutely silly things like traveling hundreds of miles to a small town to MAYBE see a train and kind of a match. This is just, so fun, and something friends do. I love it.
Love the content ellis, your vids have inspired me and my mate to travel from canada to england to visit some of the lower tier games for the banter next year. Keep it up 💪🏽
Pittsburgh Riverhounds and Highmark Stadium in the US also have a train going alongside….. Slightly higher level than the 6th tier too. Sponsors make it happen please!
Hey Ellis, not sure which match this is but the train only comes on specific games, and its mainly just to be an attraction. On the 23rd of August there was a match between them and first tier side Podbrezová where the train actually went through. Its a shame you didint see it but feel free to come back sometime and ill tell you which games its going trough.
St Mirren’s stadium in Paisley is quite unique, it’s right next to Glasgow airport so you’ll see loads of planes fly by on a match day, loved the video!
One of my all-time favourite Away Days videos - I couldn't stop laughing at the clips from the match and your despairing faces, fantastic. If you want to experience more despair, I would highly recommend visiting Tonbridge Angels FC for a future AwayDays vid: ✅ Non-league club on the up, crowds doubled since Covid and usually a good atmosphere ✅ Unique/stupid (delete as appropriate) club name ✅ Kids (average age: 15) describing themselves as ultras, complete with crowdfunded ultras flag ✅ Highly rated burgers. They're not as good as they were when we had a guy called Paul making burgers in a van but to be fair, Paul was a generational talent, very much west Kent's answer to Michelangelo in terms of making burgers in a van ✅ Brand new chip van called Fries Like An Angel. Provision of chips probably not a novelty for you, but it is for us ✅ No waiting around for trains to run through the ground in the arse end of Slovakia - you'd just waiting to see if we can score more than 1 goal at home this season If it's of interest I can see if I can sort something for you - would absolutely love to hear your commentary on a day out at Longmead and the pints would be on me (well, a pint at least). And if not, well, I tried. Keep up the great work!
"They're not as good as they were when we had a guy called Paul making burgers in a van but to be fair, Paul was a generational talent, very much west Kent's answer to Michelangelo in terms of making burgers in a van" this quote here is the best quote in the history of ever, and I am sorry that Paul isn't there anymore so I could go there and taste those burgers.
Wild!! This whole video reminded me of when I visited Slovakia back in 2016, and I was curious so I googled where this was, and that’s legit SO close to where I stayed back then! 🙈 Also, no failures! Great video and I’m glad y’all posted it! That’s a story to laugh about in the future 🙌🏼 & a great reminder that not everything will turn out the way you want it to.
To be fair, the biggest 'wrong' in all that was the Spoons porridge, everything else was just a minor irritant. Another cracking video and thanks again for your commitment to bring us some unique content.
Please come to Berwick rangers, they’re my local team! The pitch is in the middle of a speedway track 😂we’re the only English club that plays in the Scottish league. Would love to see you there, loving the content atm
This is the most Away Days video of all time and I'm here for it! 😂 Also, I know British/Irish sense of humour is very self deprecating but honestly hope things are otherwise are all well and your doing good, well as good as any Leeds fan can be right now 👍
I dont watch for the football either😂😂😂 Yet more magnificrnt content. "It's raining ,Ben "😂 Simply brilliant. Just a word on the production/editing quality, too. Up there with the best. Really adds to the enjoyment
I would just like to thank you for the videos. It allows me to explore and enjoy the world of football. I live in Aus so there isnt the same level of pride in t he sport here yet.... its growing but its a while away. So this is my only way to experience and enjoy the world of football as travel is not an option for me for the considerable future.
A glorious calamity of a trip but worth it for sure. Doing the Queen of the South/Solway Sharks football/ice hockey double header in Dumfries in November if you fancy it
You should visit the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Stadium in Turkey (home of Bursaspor) the stadium is shaped like a crocodile, definitely the most unique looking stadium 👏
You went to the team with smallest stand, and now the unique stadium 😮 What is next? Raynes park vale match vlog ? Who were told they had the worse ground 😅
I love this channel! I'm a Canuck and watching you guys whinge like only Brits can - despite being the ones who put themselves in the situation they're whinging about - makes for absolutely class entertainment.
For a video, you could go to Ireland and watch a match from their league, the League of Ireland and buy different clubs shirts like shamrock rovers, bohemians, Shelbourne etc
Not sure if you've done something like this (still pretty new to your channel) but randomly select a team from as many European countries as possible (other than Ukraine and Russia, obviously), and road trip across the continent for them? Have it be 1-2 countries per video for sponsor money reasons, and it would still be a: an amazing experience for you, and b: some excellent content for us.
This one is in my bucket list. Even the train is a classic. But the landscape is absolutly gorgeous. That was an absolute "no luck day". better luck next time
You just have to find when team plays and when trains run. If you find exact day, book flight to Vienna or Bratislava and by bus or train (regular one) you can visit it easily.
Come to Tolka Park in Dublin. We're fighting for Europe. Damien Duff is our manager and we just had 1 of the best games we've had in years last week. 3 home games left I'd recommend you come to our game against Dundalk on October 6th (Friday night)(all games are on a friday) you're more than welcome Yup The Shels
You know next time to eat all your Witherspoon's porridge .👀 On the plane lol 🤭( could have fixed your puncture) with the it ps why does Ben look like a German Backpacker when he goes abroad. I was expecting him to ask the train driver for some hot water for his Pot noodle or what German s have . Great video

FNB Stadium! Amakosi ✌️

That is disastrous to find out now 😂

😂😂😂
I love how you always drag Ben along to the most ridiculous away day adventures 😂
😂😂😂😂
@@awaydaysfootballi know you
Yeah Ed gets to go to Man City VIP and Ben gets to go to the sixth tier of Slovakian football
Ben is a true friend, always supportive. I can tell he'd wait the entire day just so Ellis to be able to see the train.
You’re genuinely spot on, he’s annoyingly loyal
Thank you for coming over to Slovakia, at least more people will know we have something like this here! 😅🇸🇰
Beautiful there
Absolutely sensational content Ellis. Even when everything goes wrong your videos are incredible! 😅
Legend!
Not gonna lie. I was way happier than I should have been when the train finally rocked up. Love your channel.
Glad you enjoyed it!
10:53 why did that jump scare the life out of me 😭
This is by far the most miserable away days of all time… everything that could go wrong went wrong… and it made for amazing entertainment
Come on now mate! it wasn't that bad!
I bet the game was good
But Ellis is "too famous" to like non-league football... unless it's England
Love the content ellis, your vids have inspired me and my mate to travel from canada to england to visit some of the lower tier games for the banter next year. Keep it up 💪🏽
Amazing to hear!
Pittsburgh Riverhounds and Highmark Stadium in the US also have a train going alongside….. Slightly higher level than the 6th tier too. Sponsors make it happen please!
I was thinking the same thing! Plus it’s an amazing view of the city!
@lunaticcbyul1356false
Characteristically shambolic yet successful. Well done lads. One of the best yet.
A grail ground I know I’ll likely never see.

Bedfont Sports has planes ✈️
Similar to San Jose in the MLS too

just started the video and i already cannot wait to see the madness that ensues. thanks for the video mate
This combines so much things I love: trains, hills, nature, views, low-end football and Ellis with Gibbs
Loving your videos lately Ellis! Your personality and humour always brings a smile to my face. Keep it up!
10:56 That scared the shit out of me lmao
10:25 the train

If you want to replicate this internationally, there is a train that runs next to the field in the US's 2nd tier, the Pittsburgh Riverhounds
Once again in my country. Great to see that. I will enjoy this one for sure ⚽😎
class video ellis mate x
Things like this makes me happy. Subscribed 😍🤩
Reminds me of that film Brewsters Millions, when they have a train going through the baseball stadium..
Always a good day when AwayDays uploads!!!
A glorious calamity of a trip but worth it for sure.
Doing the Queen of the South/Solway Sharks football/ice hockey double header in Dumfries in November if you fancy it

Hey Ellis, in Scotland there is a football pitch with a race track around it called Cowdenbeath
Did anyone else shit themselves when they put that fake train go by 😂
There is a stadium in Serbia that’s on top of a shopping mall. Voždovac Stadium, home to FK Voždovac
Hey Ellis, you should come to New Zealand next time you do your football shirt hunting series
When do you make your shirt ranking videos?
Gotta go to the Maracana stadium in Rio. Now that's football!
Could never have been long before you went to this stadium
Come to the Pittsburgh riverhounds!
