This is what I call blind fandom, there’s a huge difference between a good cricketer and a good captain. If good cricketers made good captains then Sachin Tendulkar would’ve been the greatest captain of all time. And just to clarify further , Kane Williamson led a ‘not so great’ or an ‘underdogs’ team to the final of the biggest cricket tournament in the world. I’d say he also deserved to win the World Cup if it weren’t for the “most boundaries wins” rule. So he’s definitely a better captain than Virat Kohli , if not a better batsman than him. What BCCI can do is to adopt split captaincy , they can give the captaincy of the T20I team to Rohit Sharma. Rohit Sharma has won the IPL a total of four times ( in India ) and the next T20I WC is in India , so why not give captaincy of the team to someone who knows how to win in India?

@@fe4rthefuture I agree nz is not that strong but dude nz is the only team which has defended so many low totals their bowling is their power and now comes to indian team our middle order is nothing .... if we compare indian team with england and Australian team than Indian team don't have that much depth in it we don't have many allrounders that are consistent and our bowlers can't bat ... archer bowler of england can bat too but bowler like chahal bhuvi bumrah can't... and indian team will also become underdogs as indian team is dependent on openers and kohli whereas other teams england and australian everyone is consistent
