I think , It should be like this !!! In this example (90/2+1)+1. ( 90 seats and 2 vacancy) =(90/3)+1 =30+1 =31 candidate So ,3100 points are necessary to win✌️✌️ Plz tell is this satisfying or not !!
@@maneeshbk4361 for majority. take in example like in lok sabha there are 545 seats and only one elected as PM so there is more than half (1/2) of total, so 273 is needed for majority ..so in this case if two vacancy are there and to win ,the candidate needs to get *more than* one third of total MLAs votes to win by majority

Can you please provide an example by stating party name ... whether BJP - 2, Congress - 2, Other - 1 etc ... how only 5 is made for 2 seat ... what is the strategy a party can have for raising a candidate for Rajya Sabha election ... in this case for 2 seats ... Actually, it is total votes needed to win = floor(valid votes cast / (seats to fill + 1)) + 1 Basically, the round-off is done before adding 1 in the end.
Simply explained and highly informative....designed so well that any1 can easily understand. I suggest u to continue your efforts in the same way. Thank you
@@Life_of_PK Hi Prabhu, to be precise it should be >30(i,e min 31) so the 1 gets 31 gets selected & the process continues till anyone gets 31 by transferring of votes
If A, B, C got 30 each then we will go to second round and we will see who has got the most 2nd preference votes. Eg.. A got 30 1st preference votes so remaining 60 member who have not given him 1st preference should have given him 2nd aur 3rd preference. And if he got 2nd preference votes more than any other candidates then he will be selected.

😂
It looks complicated but actually it's very easy. Politicians simply have to give preference. That's it. Rest is taken care by Election Commissioner.
Nice comment ❤😂😂😂❤
Don’t underestimate these politicians. They maybe illiterate but they aren’t dumb

Requirement is slightly more than 30 and not exactly 30. So it will go to next round and second preference would be seen.
