- Today is the last of the driver reviews (for now) and we're putting the two big boys, Callaway and TaylorMade head to head to see which is the best. Not in Dubai, not in America, in 2 degrees freezing conditions in the UK!

Very impressive performance by the Qi10! A bit unfair to Callaway because you were hitting their Ai Smoke Max D Driver. It's their "DRAW" version.

Max D goes very left as its heavily draw biased, need to use the Max or even try the triple diamond with weight at the back!!
The AI Smoke Max D is a draw bias driver. The QI10 isn’t. You should use the Smoke Max instead of the Max D it would be a better comparison.
He’s using the qi10 max. You can tell by the weight location

The qi10 max is not a draw bias driver. The max means maximum forgiveness. I’m saying if he used a smoke max instead of max d the clubs would be a better comparison
The qi10 max is still draw biased. Maybe not at extreme as last year. But def draw biased. The weight is Essentially in max draw position
Incorrect. The qi10 max replaces the stealth 2 hd in the line up, it is TM’s draw biased portion you can see that from the weight placement.

Ping are not supplying them every new driver apart from ping have given out their drivers to try to shops apart from ping ,not good for us not good for ping

I use the Ping g430 Sft currently
Had an intensive driver fitting yesterday with Qi10 (standard not max version), Ping 430 10k, Titleist TS2, Ai Smoke and Cobra Dark Speed. Qi10 was by far the best for me. I was surprised just how well the Cobra performed too. Worst by some way was the Ai Smoke. I just could get on with the Callaway at all. Different for all I suppose.

I tested them both and liked the Qi10 better and I’ve never been a TM guy. But to be fair, isn’t the Max D a more draw bias club, likely the reason it went left

19 hcp , Just got the Qi10 max today after trading in my sim max D which was my first and only driver 👀🤞🏻 first round today shot 89 😁 and when I hit it it stayed hit and was straight ❤️⛳️🤣

I'd say that was a push. The Callaway put the pull where you aimed it. The two or three that went left was because of your swing, but it still gave you consistent distance, ball speed, and spin rate. Same thing with the slice on the Qi10, that was you not the driver. Ultimately just go and test every driver on the market and get the one that best suits your swing. It will change from model to model, so being brand loyal only hurts the individual golfer.
So a video with the Ping versus the Taylormade 😊 Let's see who will come out on top..

I suppose the problem with an amateur giving a comparison, is every persons swing is different. So what might suit you, will not suit others.
As long as people don’t take this as gospel, and think because you’ve hit the taylormade better, they will.
If it’s a video on what suits you better then fine. But I bet someone will buy a TM based on this

I really wish somebody would take some real amateur golfers, like 20 plus handicaps and let them do a demo with these drivers. Then, the forgiveness and distance claims will be put to real tests. Your 20 plus handicaps are the majority of the customers and purchasing these products based on their claims. And fittings are not always a good thing. There are not so honest people doing fittings and are only interested in selling you the most expensive clubs they can. Not all before someone reads this and goes all Karen like. I said some. There are more than a few who have been called out in my state for doing dishonest fittings.

has to be a money spinner because new clubs every 12 months can only be aimed at those with money, you said comment about more testing, i would say not really every man and his dog does it on youtube, i guess if brands are going to send you them for free maybe , i think the best content is with the subscribers mix that with a few decent courses i recon you would be on to a winner, content/ making peoples dreams come true both 15 mins of fame and potential to play a course they may never get the chance to i know you have done more subscriber content than any other you-tuber so kudos for that maaate

Why the heck are you hitting the Callaway max D model.? That’s the wrong driver to be checking against the Taylormade.! You should be choosing the Callaway Ai Smoke standard model that is not the drawing model, and you wonder why the balls are going to the left with a Callaway? Because you hitting a draw a model! That is exactly what it is designed to do. If you’re going to do a driver task you’ve got to do apples to apples don’t be surprised if a dry driver is going to the left and blame it on the driver it’s you you chose the wrong club. This test is totally invalid

The Callaway MAX D is one of the most draw biased drivers ever. Different shafts, different head design intentions ... worthless test.
You are using the draw bias Calloway.
Prefer other version of callaway the paradym x is more forgiven
Shafts are more important than which head you are using.

@@craighaslam1279I use all the LS versions and cobra came up 3 mph faster clubhead and 5mph faster ball speed then cally and 3 mph on qi10 ls .. plus my dispersion circle was way better and the toe miss didn’t snap left like it did with the other 2
Horses for courses. I tried the new cobra ls today. My paradym TD showed it up on ball speed and dispersion. Toe hits with the cobra just want to snap left for me. LTDX LS on the other hand was great for me 🤷♂️
