Download Dollar General App to scan products. 📲
1. Every Tuesday, the Penny List is released. Join FB groups, youtubers, that are DG. You can find the items on the list and look for them in the stores.
2. Color dots on the items indicate the discount percentage: 50%, 70%, and 90%.
Finding penny items is not guaranteed, but it’s possible.
3. The lower the prices go, the less selection you will find. So, if you want it, get it.
4. DO NOT ASK EMPLOYEES FOR PENNY $ ITEMS IN THE STORE. The employee’s job is to pull penny items off the floor. They do go in the trash or storage, which means if you do find them, BUY them ALL and give some away. It’s better than going in the trash.
TIPS
1. Don’t Ask Employees for Penny Items: While it’s exciting to discover penny items, avoid directly asking store employees about them. hidden treasures. GEMS 🕵️♂️🔍
2. Avoid Price Checks: Refrain from requesting price checks specifically for penny items. Remember, these items are meant to be discreetly discovered, so asking for a price check might draw attention.

My daughter went to two stores near her workplace and found several hoodies, but the managers didn't allow her to purchase them. In both stores, similar incidents occurred. In one of the stores, she was told that the items were going to be distributed among the employees. 🙁🙁
Oooo my guess what did you get a receipt do a survey and say exactly that on it. Then just say I thought employees are not allowed to get Pennie’s only 90%off and the penny policy says it should be sold to customers. Things will change after that just wait.

Hi Brennan i went to one of my store here i. Colorado springs Colorado and girl i found nothing. I guess they took it all off the floor. Also they had sticker with prices on them. I don't think we have the penny prices here. Also there was no mother's day sale here. It was dissapointing.

I saw employees took them out the night before. I went this morning hoping I could find some but , NEhhh!
Don’t worry about what the employees do because 1st they doing their job and 2nd if they takes Pennie’s it just a matter of time

@@sharonrobinson6443 yes in new store on app even on registers it looks like wrong but once it hits total it turns to penny you have to trust it . Make sure they hit total . If not this time remember for next time that’s why I’m showing receipts so even it rang up . 30 cents in the end total was like .36 cents screen shot or look at your receipts new registers give 3 separate receipts
