Reminds me of when I had to defend Lageta from an Empire siege and no one came to help. We repelled them but was immediately besieged afterwards by the Aserai ( we were in 3 wars and since I joined Vlandia and they had Feudal Inheritance I was stuck with 3 castles and Lageta on the fringe of Vlandian land). We repelled them too, but were dwindling in numbers since we had no time to rebuild and gain troops so it was not favorable, but I was determined to keep Lageta and fought several battles at the wall till it was ~160 vs 600. Then, like divine intervention we made peace and their army disbanded. I was alone in both sieges while the other armies f’ed off in the countryside. THEN came the Sturgians with a force numbering around 500, and I was forced to flee my town and let them take it. I regrouped and formed a sizable army to take back my town, waited for the main host to leave Lageta with only around 100 defenders, and set up camp outside the still broken walls. During my siege, FINALLY the two Vlandian armies at the time showed up to “support” (take over the siege so I can only get a handful of loot) and we retook my town, with Feudal Inheritance insuring I get the town for my clan again. It was a bad season for Lageta, but ever since then my town has stood untouched for around a decade ingame now. Let the rest of Calradia know what happens when you march on Lageta
@@Nodiddyno2 thankfully I put an Empire chick in charge so loyalty and prosperity keep going up. When it wasnt mine but still freshly Vlandian it did have one rebellion, but that’s when I became a lord so they gave me the town after I helped put down the rebellion.
Ah gotta love it. I remember before the beta update, you would literally sit in the siege defense until help arrived, or if you actually killed them all. It would be the most annoying back and forth on the planet as every time you win you'd have to again, wait for reinforcements and no one would come. Your health low, your troops lowering again and again. Your companions fainted Only to finally be captured and lose it all

Not sure if you're gonna read this bun but i need a bit of help with an issue. I recently captured two battians cities and won a castle in the a war and i appear to be doing good but as soon as i lauch my kingdom everyone under the sun and moon rushes me down, Any advice on how to more openly try to avoid all out wars and try and balance out it so i'm not being railed? (This is campaign mode btw) If you have any advice please reply. P.S you videos actually got me into Mount and Warband so thank you for showing off how fun the game can be!
Bannerlord Ai sucks, war is inevitable, if you want your castle to be prosperous make sure its in deep ally territory, if its in the front lines it bcomes a target and you'll end up defending that castle more than exploring the map, you have the option to give it to the kingdom and a random lord will take it, whats your campaign progress btw? Did you join a kingdom or you're going independent?
I am fully idenpendent from every faction but trying to align towards the sturgians as the infantry is amazing; currently i have two cities that our basically in the center of the map so every basically wants a piece of me.
@@ThatGuyDazed first play through? if you're doing campaign and not sandbox, I got bad news for you, at a later part of the campaign you'll be forced to travel around the map forcing you to leave your precious castle, and taxes dont forget about taxes
Have your army stationed in captured city until your militia hit 300-400+ units. Your stationed troops must not be lower than surrounding cities at least. AI will always declare war if it sees poorly guarded castle or city.
Vanilla bannerlord is crazy when you’ve been on rbm and other combat /troop mods for so long. My horse would have been piked and me thrown off of it 10 minutes ago trying to charge solo in there like that
Im going ironman mode, so i cant cheat by going back to a save file if i fucked up, therefore every choice counts, ai combat is in veteran and seems to be balanced, player recieved damage is normal
