This is my first match and I was in Orlando Florida for it. My opponent was 8-0 (4 KOs) because they don’t match up by experience. This is not how I train and I was not ready mentally, as I was nervous. (First fight nerves) But amateurs is about experience and fun, not all about winning. And I still enjoyed it, I am sorry for my lack of discipline, as my anger got a hold of me. I will bounce back and I think you guys for the support. Also special thanks to STR8Fightah76 and Lucas, as they have been supportive and watched my recent videos. Enjoy
For USA boxing do you have to own your own certified headgear to compete or is it provided?
Definitely own, but be careful with USA Boxing, sometimes they can be extremely unprofessional and their events can really suck.

Matching you up against an opponent with 8 fights is terrible. How did your coach allow this?
My coach didn’t, we were told that the kid had 1 fight but then when we talked to the coach of the fighter, he mentioned how many fights the kid had. USA Boxing was genuinely trash in some aspects!

You were slugging at the end of the fight probably because your tired or demotivated, maybe both
Yea, stage fright is a big problem for me too. Not to mention, it being the first fight created even more issues. I’ve of course improved a lot since then but still need to remove that stage fright.
