The atmosphere, the scene, the slow mo, the music, the era. One of the best independent films ever made. Nothing can beat the 80's. Harlan Ellison should be proud instead of angry at Jim.
Everyone says T2 is better, but that is part of why I like the first Terminator best. The atmosphere feels real and gritty, while T2 (though great) feels like a Hollywood blockbuster.

Such a fantastic reimagining of one of my favourite songs from the 1980s. Hats off to you!
Thank you! That reaction is crazy. Brad had nothing to do with the original, but we added a little nod to his T1 soundtrack at the end of ours. As a tribute.
@@thevoyade5614 I like the vocals, I just want to hear an instrumental version as well since I'm into ambient music too and there's not a lot of instrumentals of this song :(

@@thevoyade5614 no, didn’t mean it like that. But just like the tone and playing style from the original I personally just love more, it’s still good I definitely meant no offense or anything
@@kml_arf Different musical styles calls for different instrumentation and vocal styles. A classic rock style song and an atmospheric electro version are two different moods. It’s a very deliberate choice.
I agree, it’s two different styles. But it’s not the voice alone. It is the entire genre and arrangement of the song. Therefore the approach to the vocal track is not the same. I don’t think it lacks anything. It’s adapted to a new version of the song.

Amazing, born in 86 and grew up with Schwarzenegger, Stallone, van Damme, Willis etc, same as with the music this got me pumped best decade ever
I’m glad to hear that. 🙂
I was born in 1978, and watched T1 first time in 1992 by the VHS tape. It was mindblowing...
June 1986. What a fuckin time to be alive, my earliest memories being 1989.
The transition between the the song and the terminator theme is genius
Thank you so much. It does kind of work now that you mention it 🤔
i agree totally
The way it seamlessly transitions into the terminator theme at the end gives me chills.
I’m glad it did. 🙏🏻
