I’ve got the Fender JPN Modern which is almost identical to the previous gen Fender US Elite. Just doesn’t have the truss rod adjust at the heel. 9.5” - 14” C to D shape neck Locking tuners Gen 4 noiseless SSS (I’ve gone with PAF HH in mine) Contoured heel RW fretboard 42.5mm nut What more could you want? It’s an aerodyne Strat body shape with the binding The hardware is all Elite Fender and it rings out and sustains so good! The value is incredible and the binding is something different (mines a Strat)
I have both the Aerodyne Special Tele (Red/Burst) and the Elemental Tele (White). I (slightly) prefer playing the Elemental but (slightly) prefer how the Aerodyne sounds
@@badscrew4023 yeah…sadly we only had the Ultra for a short time and I couldn’t really change the strings and do a setup on it before sending it back to Fender
The blue one is more appealing. The U.S. Fender has better resale. I do not need a Tele. I have a hand made custom guitar made. It has the Tele bridge PU and a Strat middle and neck PU. Perfect as I hate the Strat bridge and the Tele neck PU's . Fender has consciously never made this combination. It is beyond obvious to do it. You get the best of 2 Fenders in one.

Aerodyne 👍 and the Elemental over that. Have you reviewed an Artist at53?🇦🇺
The Elemetal Series is great…I love my Elemental Jazzmaster!!
I really want to try some Artist Guitars…I hear nothing but good things about them

Yep, bluey wins. It's got a really lovely woody tone, almost like a thinline.
@@ChrisJones-ht9zn hehe…I told Alex he was wrong!!
It's a shame not doing it with the same strings!
This being said, nothing justifies much higher price of the Ultra. This Aerodyne is slick!

@@R1GAMBLER haha…yes
Telecaster Ultra is Modern D, 10-14" and the Aero II Tele is modern C, 12 inch, Aero II is better
@@henrod27 the necks felt very similar…a slightly different finish but all up very similar feeling necks

Fender baja has twisted Tele pickups which are exactly this combo
The aerodyne is better because she's blue ....
