- ET sits down with Shannon Beador at her Newport Beach home to dig into season 16 of ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County,’ which is a bit of a rebound year for the franchise after a less-than-stellar, COVID-impacted season 15. Shannon discusses the pressure the cast felt to deliver a standout season, and reflects on surviving two major cast shake-ups back to back, which she admits left her feeling ‘alone on an island.’ The longtime ‘RHOC’ star weighs in on Heather Dubrow’s return to the series after a five-year break and why their renewed friendship unexpectedly started off on the very wrong foot. Shannon reacts to some explosive moments from the trailer, which seemingly paints her to be the villain of the season as she gets into it with Heather, Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson. The mom of three also shares her thoughts on new cast members Noella Bergener and Dr. Jennifer Armstrong. ‘RHOC’ airs Wednesdays on Bravo, starting with the season 16 premiere on Dec. 1.
She’s an interesting personality and doesn’t have to force anything to be entertaining. That’s rare for the Real Housewives

I like both for different reasons. Heather seems (I don’t know?) to be the wealthiest wife so viewers may just like seeing her over the top lifestyle. I also didn’t realize she had so many children who were teens so I think to see her juggling businesses + children is interesting. They’re both OGs in my opinion. Shannon has been through quite a bit on the show so I just want to see her win / happy. She is a pot stirrer though lol

Lol…but yes Shannon shouldn’t have said anything to those 2 tweetle dingos. She should have went straight to Heather and said that of Nicole. But then again the viewers would want to see some kind of argument and actions against one another on the show because without those actions or arguments on the show it’ll be boring to watch. Every interview I've seen lately Shannon claims she was pleased to learn of Heathers return to the show. It's odd to me because it's said with zero sincerity and her face during the house tour said a thousand words, not one of them positive. You could see as she went room to room she was having flashbacks of her old life and finally when she stepped out to the view she really was triggered. She admires everything Heather has, from her family to her businesses to her lifestyle and her wealth. She has everything Shannon longs for and although she claims she doesn't have time to be jealous, well she must be doing some serious overtime because it's definitely snuck in there!
