It really is one of the best I've heard, too. Never heard of this guy but him being a fan of Louis, Hicks, Pryor, Brian Regan, etc., he seems to have good taste comedically, and he made a lot of good points throughout this ep. Cool stories, all that stuff. Great ep.
He had a joke in his special about bad relationships year ago. I was cracking up and looked over at my girlfriend who wasn’t laughing at all right as he says “if you’re not laughing your relationship is doomed” and making a joke how this joke has literally ended relationships. I am one of those people 😂😂😂
@@mrshmuga9 he was 💯 right lmao. It didn’t end that day, but I saw the look in her eyes and now looking back it was over at that point. Would have saved a lot of grief if we broke up on the spot though 😂
@@mrshmuga9 it’s objectively funny no offense taken. If a comedy act can be a catalyst in breaking up a relationship, it never had legs to begin with lol
Superb you managed to get one of Scotland's finest comedians on here! His specials "Dark" and "Jigsaw" were brilliant. Had a pleasure of seeing him live and he didn't disappoint
Seemed kinda blowhard and hogging the convo with incessant ranting. Kinda funny but basically your standard harmless witty British style. Like a Scottish Gervais. Not much going on here tho so don't get all the fuss. If he didn't have an accent it'd just be some lame guy,, lets be honest.
@@brobert4172 Fuck off, dude. Seriously. Someone gives a compliment and mentions how much they enjoyed the episode and you have to give your useless negative opinion as if anyone gives a fuck? Go complain somewhere else.
Mark Normand just casually saying "and I have blow" going unnoticed when they're trying to convince him to come out to Marks show that night. Hilarious!!!
This is the first WMBD in a while that I've listened to start to finish. Sloss is one of those outstanding, brilliant comedians that you don't see every day.
Marks spot on with the drinking friends. The grabby guy, the fighting guy and the rapey guy. Basically the guy that gets emotional and tell you how much he loves you, the angry drunk that fights and the guy that drinks and is creepy and hits on all the girls that feels weird. Every crew has them lmaoo
I like Daniel Sloss's comedy already but props to him for really being able to keep up on a podcast. He was funny, timely, always ready for a punchline, didn't talk over anyone, what a great guest! I'd totally drink with that guy.
My favourite podcast so far. You guys are my favourite comics by far and the NY comedy scene and I'm in the UK. Your reach is so huge and you deserve all your successes
I watch all comedy podcasts and I must say as someone from the UK it was nice to see someone talented like Daniel sloss on a American podcast. I would like to see funny comedians from other parts of the world, (that speak English obviously) appear on this podcast, I’m dreaming here but thanks to this podcast, I don’t have to dream, thanks it was fun 😂🙏
I ended up finding this podcast because of a RUclips short. I don’t normally watch this kind of thing but it caught my eye and now I’m here. Great stuff guys
This conversation was so fucking smart. Knew it was going to be incredible before I pressed play on the principal of how much I respect you all as comedians and still I’m still more impressed, amused and enlightened than I imagined. Never have I EVER said I wish a comedian’s podcast episode was longer but here I am. Thanks for putting it together and drinking on our behalf.
So happy to see a Scottish comedian especially Daniel getting much deserved publicity on the bigger American podcasts, he’s from Kirkcaldy only 20 mins from me too
This was so good what a great guest. I just found him exactly the way he describes through reels on RUclips and that's how I found my favorite comedians, and he is fast becoming my current favorite. Thank you for posting such real behind the scenes authentic getting to know the actual person content
Another home run. Feeling like I’m hearing exactly what I want to.... if I was a young comedian, i would be studying this show. Love how you guys break down the intricacies of the art. Over time has made me realize how much work goes into a set and tinge lifestyle of a comedian. Cheers Boyz
This is my favorite episode no doubts, this was just incredibly entertaining and a great conversation to hear!! I hope you 3 get together again some time soon!
I didn't know Mark was a Dylan Moran fan! Now THAT would be my dream guest. His streams of consciousness could be GOLD! Make it happen. Top 3 irish comedians ever.
This episode was 🔥 🔥! Please have Daniel back whenever y’all get a chance, he was great. There’s something about Scottish accents that I feel get better the drunker you get. Comedy!
Loved that they brought up Daniel's first time on Conan. I remember watching his set when it first aired on that show and that's how I found out about him. Been a fan ever since
Fu..!!, I don't understand how I didn't know about this guy! Brutal! You have to invite Daniel Sloss again, one of the best episodes I've seen of the podcast. Greetings from Colombia!

Shoutout to you guys for not splitting this 2 hour episode in half and spreading it over 2 weeks to milk the ad revenue ✊ I tell ya, they really seem to care!
I discovered Mark and Sam on my own. Daniel, well a crush of mine introduced his act to me. Bless her heart, I hope she gets what she always wanted - get to see him preform live... and maybe later get rekt backstage.
“There’s a sober child in Africa” 😂😂😂😂
I watched this comedian from Africa who said that they drink from a young age there & they’d be told “Drink up! There’s sober children in America”
Top notch quick wit
Mark is absolutely hilarious & quick with jokes off the top
For just 10 cents a day, you can help this child stay loaded

I literally just watched slossins special. I NEVER would have expected him to be on WMBD. I love you guys and this podcast 💕
20 minutes in and this is already a top 5 episodes. This guy is hilarious
Sloss getting some love! He's so great. Love that you're reaching across the pond with guests :-)
One of the best guests. You should have Sloss on again.
This is absolutely fantastic. Love Sloss, Normand, and Morril. What a great combination.
If only Normand and Morrill got a word in a monologued conversation...
first time seeing Daniel Sloss definitely gonna be checking out more of him, great ep

The sloss-ness monster! Fookin class, man. His sister jokes slay.
Hey man, that's his sister! I don't think he'd like you commenting about her on RUclips
As many have already said, this is one of the best eps of the pod so far. Best "talking comedy" pod in the game.
