Agree with you..this kind of character is difficult. If the actress is too stiff..it will be not funny..and if the actress is too over acting then the FL will become irritating and not cute anymore..I have seen some of Seven Tan works..and she is very versatile actress..she is very relax so even maybe she doesn't look like goddess like some other pretty actress..but her acting is very enjoyable to watch..It is the same as Ren Jia Lun..he is may be not super handsome..but his acting makes me melting🥰
@@reny9221 Beauty is subjective to begin with... rather than having only good looking people on-screen who can't do anything but look pretty and handsome, give me a talented actor that can move me with their acting performance any day of the week. Not to mention Songyun and Jialun are good looking actors who do have the acting talents to boot. It's about grasping the essence of their characters and bringing the character to life... and not just Songyun and Jialun, the entire cast has done this. It's a brilliant performance by all! I think almost everyone goes through a vanity stage where they place more importance on the visuals of an actor than true acting talent, but as you get older and become a regular drama viewer, you realize and begin to appreciate the difference good acting makes. It's all about performance at the end of the day.

Most drama have good actors to a certain degree, but good acting still doesn't become convincing if the actors personality doesn't match with the character they are playing. I think the leads in this drama is a good and cute fit though, although the background story plot is very is Superficial and dragging.
Ps: I think if you are favourable to an actor/actress you'll in general think their acting is good. If you don't like an actor/actress you'll think their acting is bad or pretentious.

Considering the fact that the show was not shot from beginning to end I really respect the great job the ML and FL had done - it was shot randomly so to speak - the actor and actress had to take notes and realize the timeline they were on and act accordingly.
He was wrong for that...lol He knew exactly what he was doing. She was hysterical with her reaction. Her heart was broken. She even called him her enemy. She loves money and he ruined it for her...lol
If Xie Xiao is indeed annoying, then his acting must be spot on cause he can make himself being hate by the viewers. He is the comedy part of this drama. The director did a good cast. He chose each of the actors/actresses to his/her suitable characters.
