The idea of having a large-ish bookcase with glass doors both for books but also decor has felt like an ideal solution for me too for quite some time now. Don't have one but maybe one day 😎 And yes yes yes to Ziploc bags as well as the tiny zipped bags for small things like screws or buttons etc. Or for q-tips and supplements and such when travelling. I know they are plastic which sometimes makes me feel a bit bad but I reuse them until they can't be used anymore. I feel that it's still better than buying larger rigid plastic containers when and where that is not necessary and can be avoided. Sending you hugs dear Mika 😘🌺
Hi Françoise! Hehe, I don't know if you watch Netflix, but there is this series called "Lupin" with Omar Sy, and he has bookcases around his apartment that is like a dream 😊 With the ziploc bags, I feel the same and re-use them too, and you bring up such a great big-picture point!! In a similar sense, instead of the common one-day/one-time use, one bag can be used and bring value for years. I hope that the rest of your month is going beautifully! Sending you warm wishes and a big hug!! 🤗 ❤️ 🌺
Holy cow! I am so excited to find you! I just moved (9/1) from about 750 sq. ft. 1 bedroom to a studio and do I need help! I don’t have enough storage space. Okay, okay…. I have too much stuff! Since 9/1 I have been working on the kitchen. Almost 5 months and I am just moving stuff around! I have two loves. Cooking for people I love and knitting. I can’t knit in this disarray. I am going to watch some of your declutter videos and hopefully get some inspiration. Getting rid of kitchen stuff is hard. BTW I live alone and am retired.
