I have a DeVibiss MBS siphon feed I have had since 1980 that use for clear and it still sprays like it did when it was new I have never had to do anything to it
Fully agree mate I own a dv1s and iwata w300 wb for smart repairs and both lay a beautiful finish. Dv1s does edge over w300 slightly even ended up buying the other air cap for it so I have more choice. Its all money worth spending 😉
Great as usual..... At 2:50, you mention "In and out of gun wash"? I guess cleaning process? Like to see that in another video? Do you spray item with filter mounted inside cup, or without? Seems without? Does the S1 always come with "High Efficiency Cap" - I think called PLUS cap?
Hi Rob, totally agree with everything you said here mate, the DV1S is IMO the best mini gun out there as it lays clear like glass, I have the SRI ProLite but the DV1S lays clear better as it has a bigger fan and atomises the paint better but it's a bit slower compared to the SRI but when you use it you won't care😄 I was lucky enough to win a DV1S when they first come out😎 Hope you like the Kapci 6030 mate, it's a great clear as it's easy to use but I find if you add around 5% reducer it helps it to flow out a bit better, looking forward to the clearcoat video🙏👍 Oh all you need now is the DV1 basecoat gun, once you try that you won't use anything else for base👌
Hi John really looking forward to giving the dv1s a blast with the kapci 6030 new video coming up very soon thanks again for the feedback and support with the channel much appreciated
I just love your work Rob even though I have zero talent for airbrushing I can appreciate the skill involved, and just want to say sorry if some of my comments are rather long😬🤓👍
@@dredfxcustompaint Yes, they did try doing it with the Super 93 and the instruments were fine, needed tweaking a bit because the new device was based on the Fischer airbrush that if I remember correctly was owned by Letraset and was certainly marked on the continent by them. Now the Fischer was a study design, I know because... Here is the thing, the 93 was then made cheaper and although I was reasonably satisfied many were not and then the company making the 93 was sold and that was pretty much the end. Now in the end they did try making an airbrush that was a combination of the 63 and the 93 air valve, as you will know the air valve system was changed to the neoprene set up and after six months or so one needed a new one, the Fischer did not have that problem and with the 93 I always missed that cam ring, I know the EFBE, Olympos, Iwata and RichPen not to mention my new loves the Creos range don't have cam rings either but on the 93 they were missed. Hope this was not too long, thanks.
@@Pavelek88 I have to admit i have never see a Devilbiss Dagr airbrush up close - these I believe are American as in USA devices, now the ones I have in mind are the old Super-63's that were made from about 1963 I think to 1993 when the Super 93 came into play - so a very different design and the 63's were UK made.
Liking the look of the baby version mate cant wait for you to lay some clear down 😃😃
Well designed rob that devilbis brand have nailed there tech on that range 👏👏👏👏

Hi Rob picture at the framers nice to see your subs going up.
That's great news thank you yes we are getting there with the subs 😀
Is it worth to save up more money to get it instead of LPH 80 1.2? I'm limited to mini guns by my compressor, and really no need for anything bigger.
Hi not tryed the lph80 but seen alot of reviews on it my preference would be the devilbiss dv1s as you get two set ups with it
Any chance they will go back to making airbrushes again?
I had the same conversation with someone the other day about that I think they should because the old super 63 was a great brush
Just needs updating
