As long as the anchor holds we don't mind a bit of katabatic wind. Swell is our Achilles heel. As long as it stays on the other side of the hill we're perfectly happy! 😃
Try Palairos but not in the harbour, anchor out in front of the yacht club beach, just south of the harbour. Beautiful sunsets and great Indian food at Panorama restaurant right on the beach
You are the entertaining cruise couple, eh. Wait, wasps? Okay, I'm not going to Greece, jk. Another natural wasp repellant is ground cloves, put a little amount in a saucer and leave it on your table. Chardonnay? Yikes, I've been a fan of ABC (anything but chardonnay) for years, shouldn't you be drinking Retsina while in Greece?
We will have to try the ground cloves trick! Bring on the natural solutions!! As for the wine, we're still working our way through our supply from Sicily. Stock is getting low, adding retsina to the shopping list!
Have to love those Katabatic winds.
They have similar here in the Aoleans too.

One of our favourite places over the last 6 years. Be back out there soon in 2 weeks, can’t wait!
Did you meet the legend that is "Grey" when at Port Atherinos?
Can't say we had the pleasure
For mosquitoes try Avon skin so soft. As used bu uk military when in jungles, really works
Never heard of that one! Will give it a try!
How long are the lines you use to tie up to land?
Hi MJ, we use 2 x 50 meter polypropylene lines (12mm)

Sounds amazing!
Your AIS seems to be broken or switched off? :(
The abandoned village is more commonly known as Port Leone, lovely spot but not great ground
That's the one! We loved it!
