I suggest on the new boat, if you do any electrical work that twist and solder your connections, then use the heat shrink with the glue inside. I used to use waterproof crimp connectors and all but always had issues. When I have to use a spade connector I add a bit of solder to the top of the connector where the wire pokes out. I’ve also found that using a quality soldering iron makes a world of difference. A bit pricy but the HaKKo soldering stations are amazing, and with a big tip I can solder 8Ga wire together easily.
You're right it makes a huge difference but the problem with this Lowrance it was that was not connected directly to the battery somebody and RUclips recommend me to do that once I did that all the problems went away. Thanks for the great suggestion
Out On The Reef No problem. Good tools are worth it even if they are a bit more. That soldering station continues to impress me. And I can imagine how insanely happy you are with the new boat Vs the old boat. Having that closed in area must be super nice when spending the night on the water.
Good to see you again OTR, man some advise. You should be dropping your anchor not throwing it..Long chain and then slowly move boat back or allow the current to move the boat and position. Yes there are times you throw the anchor from what I saw this wasn’t one of them. Anyway love seeing you back out there again and very quiet this time of the year. You eat well in your tight setting. Learn how to cut a steak 🥩.. Use your index finger on the cutting knife! ..lol ...You have loose wires. You were well prepared with your back up GPS ? What were the water temps?
Jesse Revilla thanks for tge great advice Jesse , the water temperture was about 70 Degrees a little cool for me but ues it was very quiet. Thanks for watching Cap.
Still catching up on your videos. Really well done. Magnum grilles really needs to be paying you a fee for the wonderful advertising that you are providing Chef!!!!
Elio Hernandez thats a boat and has a great galley to keep you from bad weather , the thing that i recomend you is dont buy a boat that was kept in tge ocean by a dock that does serous damage to the outdrive
15-sec-of Fame lol i had to check the video and yes it was a notification for my phone but I'm sure you check your phone just because you thought it was yours that lets you know that I have range there good observation And thanks for watching cap.
Did you ever encounter a bad/unsafe situation. (With people) I'm preparing the boat to start going in June . Getting the radio and bbq next week Btw throwing the anchor is a very bad habit . Many things may turn wrong, even damaging the boat Shower? . I pass , must be to cold. Lol
Gotta love that Yamaha engine. To take such a trip on a 19' boat, you have to trust your equipment and be prepared. On another note: My Garmin chart plotter used to go in and out and I traced it to a bad negative connection. Glad you got it working. Be safe!
socal33 you are so right And yes im glad too that i got it fix. And your Garmin is alot better then my Lourance and im glad you got your fix.. navigate safe Cap.
Hi out on the reef, curious, what is the usual / approx speed you do on your 19 foot from Miami to Bimini? I know it depends on weather conditions but would just like to know your avarage.. Thanks again!

El vino se toma en copas!!!
Eliezer Benitez jajaja si es sierto pero no cristal en el barco
I would guess that would be brackish water on the island?
froggleggers that water is just water that comes in with the tie and it stays there and becomes old
Hi, what's the app you use to check weather
Stan T windy.com
You need a Fortress Anchor they are the best
NJ Devil i had one before and i did not like how it worked, i always drag anchor with a forest
Out On The Reef true fortress are overrated . I have aF7 I wouldn't trust it all night . Im planning to get a bigger first overnights
Is_ fun_ time i seep during storms at night time with 20 to 30 miles per hour and my mantis holds like a dream
Can you put a link to your face guard/sun screen material thingy? Thanks
Bryan Mullins later today i will place the link and will let you know here in the channel
Bryan Mullins the link is in the discription below hope it help
They're good material and economical
Thanks a bunch. I will place an order and give them a try as well.
How many hours on that engine now?
socal33 about 145 hrs

Guy Villeneuve on good weather conditions 27 to 30 MPH
On nad weather 8 to 10 MPH and thats 4 to 6 foot seas
buy a real anchor
OSCAR RODRIGUEZ if you try this anchor you would notice the best anchor you ever when I buy
