I am a current owner of the HoverAir X1 and made some decent cinematic videos from it. The value of the promax is absolutely worth it to what it can offer. NOTHING in the current market as of my writing can fight the specs of the Hover Pro max.
Honestly, I still have a DJI Spark, and from time to time, I fly it for a bit of novelty. Thank God I've never had a battery come loose during flight. That being said, I'm aware of the flaw and always make sure they clip on hard and securely. I've even seen people make 3D-printed straps to hold them. But I do want to say that on average, the flight time of the DJI Spark is about 8-13 minutes for me, flying in normal conditions in 2024. Thanks again for the videos you produce-they are top-notch, bro.
Definitely getting Hoverair X1 ProMax, is folds put it in your pocket ,have an awesome 4K 8K camera up to 120 speed, Great features HDR, you dont need extra stuffs or backpack to carry... I would be the first one going to order on the lounge day 👍🤘✨⭐🙏

I’m really pleased that Zero Zero Robotics , have upped the game against DJI, I’m a DJI flyer with a fleet of DJI drones,as no other company has come close to the quality, reliability of DJI, , Zero zero robotics looks like it has made 2 new selfie drones that will be serious competition to the Neo, let’s hope this has a positive effect on the pricing , as good competition can only be a good thing. Like many others within the hobby I will make a decision, about the quality, once I’ve seen the independent reviews .
Hey thanks for the update. The camera specs of the dji Neo are a real letdown by dji. That way it makes sense not to make the drone compatible with the FPV goggles. It would have been way better to take the sensor of the avata 1/ O3 air unit an have 2.7k 100fps/120 fps recording and latency to the goggles. That way they would have given zero zero robotics a real blow. Albeit canibalising sales if the avata 2/1. but now they just offer a cheaper hover x1. I also think zero zero have defiated allittle from their winning formula of putting in just enough tec for a great follow me drone that can withstand multiple chrashes to reduce failure points, price and weight. It would have been enough to put in the new sensor at 1/1.3 inches in the hover x1 while not raising the price to keep dji at a distance. With the higher price point it will be interesting to see a comparison between mini 4 pro with a propguard cage and x1 pro max because of similar featureset and price.
The HoverAir X1 Pro Max has me very intrigued! I love the competition. I wonder how they will price it. But 8k and the ability to record in 10 bit is insane!🤯 But I think the determining factor whether to buy this or not may come down to battery life in my opinion. It would need to at least capable of flying as long as the Avata 2 or longer. IDK 🤷🏾♂️
The X1 Pro and Pro Max, on paper, seems to be the best consumer drones in the market when it's gonna hit the market. But lets see the price and the bitrate! And other "things"... But on paper ... wow! Gonna be huge!
I’m not sure I’m familiar with Drone Meeting. I did a quick Google search and nothing definitive pops up. Can you share a little more about what you’re asking?
No, sorry! A little bit of wire crossing. I have a drone project in Melbourne that I cannot get into great detail about publicly yet. The drone event I mentioned is in Las Vegas - a trade show called the Commercial UAV Expo.
It’s not that they aren’t compatible with Android, it’s that the foundation of Android devices and the Google Play Market are not friendly to closed programming like that found with DJI. You can use an Android to fly your DJI, but you may have to download additional APKs to get it to work. Still a giant pain in the ass, so sorry if that’s something you deal with!
@TheDroneGeek it does sounds like a pia! I guess I'll have skip it. I bought a mini 4k but I couldn't figure out how to use it with my android. Gave to my son and he loves it!
12:07 active collision detection. I think It is unlikely for this drone to have obsticle avoidance (Judging by the slide you have up aswell, it probably doesn't mean that it will have obsticle avoidance, it will just detect a collision)
I have no proof, but I'm gonna say 18 for sure. There's no way that it would have a 6 minute battery. Because that means it would only ACTUALLY get 4-5min or real flight time. Not only would that be kinda stupid and make the drone useless, they've also never worded flight time like that. It's ALWAYS perfect battery, from 100-0%, and higher than reality.
Great video and many thanks for sharing the info and be interesting how good this DJI Neo and I expect the DJI Neo Pro will be coming soon after with a good price tag
amazing. i been enjoying my hover x1 drone so far especially in follow me mode while skateboarding

Ok, it was related to the Melbourne part, no problem, miss communication. Thanks.
Is this subject to airspace restrictions? No fly zones? Things like that?

I live in Melbourne Australia, can you advise on Drone Meeting, as am not aware of it. Thanks.
I’m not sure I’m familiar with Drone Meeting. I did a quick Google search and nothing definitive pops up. Can you share a little more about what you’re asking?
Just came back from Aussie land, 7 weeks in the outback.
that reminds me the skydio 1st Gen, dont know what can it do
In your recent RUclips Neo discussion you mentioned a trip to Melbourne Australia for a Drone Meet, or similar. Is this correct ?
No, sorry! A little bit of wire crossing. I have a drone project in Melbourne that I cannot get into great detail about publicly yet. The drone event I mentioned is in Las Vegas - a trade show called the Commercial UAV Expo.
Any prices on the 2 X1 drones?
Not from what I can tell. The only page I could find was a basic landing page from the HoverAir website:
hoverair.com/pages/x1-pro-and-promax
Some newer leaks now showthat it actually might be compatible with rc motion 3 and goggles 3.
We shall see. I hope it’s compatible with the goggles and the FPV RC. Being able to fly this like a true whoop would be sick.
@@TheDroneGeek that would instantly make this drone beat the hoverair x1 in my book
Will the Neo be Iphone only like the rest of the DJI drones?

Good point!
DJI4LIFE
Tell us life time for 1 battery. Is it really 18min or 3 batteries each 1 lasting 6min
Without having access to the drones, I can only speculate…but my guess is it will be 16* minutes per battery.

I should have kept my Skydio 2 😢
Noooo you’re lucky to have gotten rid of it…they sunset it, so you wouldn’t receive support on it anymore.
@@TheDroneGeekoh i didn’t know that, what do u think of this new little x1 coming out ?

I wish they'd make a tiny whoop.
