When Qunicy suggested fish on the menu to Ariel - hahaha! BTW I'm not vegan but I so appreciate the vegan reviews from Breedlove because I do enjoy eating plant based now and then, and Disney is such a great place to do it since they have such awesome options! On my last trip I think I ate three or four plant based meals and they were all delicious!!
Breedlove is ESSENTIAL for these dining reviews, because despite not being vegan myself, I have vegan friends and I love seeing whats sort of plant-based food they can expect from different Disney restaurants!
I'm actually impressed that Akershus is the first restaurant to reopen with character interactions with Guests since being closed due to COVID. Nice to see Belle in her Sofia the First redesigned gold ballgown again as when I went to WDW last month for their Halloween festivities, I saw Belle in her blue and white village dress for Meet-and-Greets, both at the France Pavilion and at Enchanted Tales with Belle in Fantasyland.
The first (and only) time I tried limoncello I took a tiny sip and couldn't keep from grimacing. I decided I would sip it until I could get one sip down and control my face. I finally did it and then said I would never ever drink it again.
As a person living in Norway who has had MANY holiday dinners here, that plate is not very traditional lol. The meatballs and gravy and red cabbage are spot on. But the mashed potatoes (it’s ALWAYS boiled almond potatoes here) and Mac and cheese are entirely American and not really done with this meal. Also you would probably not see salmon make an appearance along with pork dishes. There are two main holiday dishes for most folks here: pinnekjøtt which is dried and salt cured sheep that is steamed to reconstitute with cabbage (it’s delicious) OR ribbe which is crispy pork belly served usually with an array of sausages and red cabbage, gravy, boiled potatoes and sometimes rutabaga mash with carrots. And always Lingonberry jam.
Good review guys. I wish they had a room where the princesses didn't go in. It might be the only country in WS where you can't get a meal unless its a character one. I'm not a fan of character meals, I'm an adult and have no desire to meet them and frankly, don't like being interrupted while I'm trying to eat. I get it's fun for the kids but I would like to try the food in Norway other than the little bakery.
Lol don’t bother. That’s not very close to Norwegian food from what I saw. Like Mac and cheese is American, not Norwegian. You’d probably get closer to our food by just going to IKEA since Swedish food has a lot of similarities
Breedlove you are so positive and diplomatic. I think if that was served to me at that price l wouldn't know whether to laugh or be offended. In this day and age to expect someone to be grateful for a plate of food like that (l've been served more luscious food in hospital) just because they prefer not to eat animal parts is ridiculous. Maybe you can call them to account when vegans are charged ridiculous prices for food that costs pennies to make with no alternative additions to compliment the food.
It looks great but it's just a little disappointing that when IKEA can do plant balls with plant-based gravy and lingonberry that the plant-based sausage was just sat all dry on top of the mashed potato like that!
If you want to see the Royal Sisters of Arendelle while in the Norway Pavilion, go to the Royal Sommerhus. Anna and Elsa will be there for Meet-and-Greets in their Frozen 2 attire as Queen Anna and Fifth Spirit Elsa.

The auto-generated closed captioning was on when this video started. And now, I will forever call this restaurant "Awkward Shoes"
I will never get over how cute Miranda is. She reminds me of Cinderella, or a sweeter Tinkerbell!

Amen! It's so nice to see something that's not just a side salad they claim is a main dish.
Miranda is beautiful, she looks like a real life princess. (Quincy and Breedlove are beautiful too) 💕
Great review and Miranda and Quincy's looks were so cute! 🥰

So... Quincy mouthing Breedlove's lines in the opening was cool.
Any Little Girl’s Main & Secondary Dresses when eating at Akershus,
Main: Aurora
Secondary: Jasmine
Other than the mac and cheese and the chicken dumpling soup, it's pretty authentic! We do love our potatoes, meatballs and lingonberry 😊
You guys rock! Quincy and Miranda, you looked so cute in your dresses. Breedlove is great as always! Your videos are so entertaining, love you guys!

Also do you remember what Jewel is on Jasmine’s Headband?
@@markheying2830 It is either a sapphire, turquoise, or aquamarine at my best recollection.
@@ErikButterworthAlso further more, if that Jewel can light up Dark Places, the Area around Jasmine would be illuminated.
@@markheying2830 Interesting.
@@ErikButterworthAlso I believe that the Jewel on Jasmine’s Headband is a Sapphire.
You guys' videos are so much fun to watch! Gives us something else to watch besides tv.
Love the outfits ❤️
Yayyy it’s back!!!
Great video! Would like to see a CRT and BOG updated reviews similar to this. 💖
The ladies looked fabulous and thumbs-up to Breedlove.
Thank you for covering this. Would it be possible to cover The Plaza Restaurant?
The first (and only) time I tried limoncello I took a tiny sip and couldn't keep from grimacing. I decided I would sip it until I could get one sip down and control my face. I finally did it and then said I would never ever drink it again.
Fun video, well done 👏
Quincy goated

Hmmm ...... wonder if they use gelatin in the lingonberry sauce? Or some other non-vegan ingredient?
Not usually. The berries are fairly high in pectin so we just put sugar in it and boil it down until it’s thick

So no Anna or her sister Queen Elsa?! This restaurant is right next to the frozen ride correct?
