My family and I absolutely love Garden Grill! The characters come around so much, the service is amazing, and the food is fantastic. We will 100% be back in the future. 100/10 recommend lol
I had a memorable moment at this restaurant… I went with my best friend and someone got sick a few tables down and had to be taken out on a stretcher. This was near the beginning of our meal, so characters must have been told to stay away from our section. We didn’t see any the entire time and when we were done eating our server asked us how it was and we let her know we didn’t see anyone, but let her know it was fine because we were ready to head out. She told us to stay put and a few minutes later all characters came over (Mickey, chip, dale, and Pluto) and we were able to get a picture with everyone together 🥰
Garden Grill was one of our absolute favorites when we went in September. We’re pretty adventurous eaters, but we loved the simplicity of the meal. It was absolutely delicious and I could’ve eaten a skillet of that spoon bread. We also loved that the dessert wasn’t overly sweet or heavy.

Ate there years ago, I'm guessing at least 35 years ago. My son was youngish and he really loved Listening to the Land (yes that was when we listened to it and not lived with it) and he was thrilled to watch it go by while he ate.
Garden Grill is the ideal restaurant for chill vibes, solid food, fun characters (aside from Breedlove and Emma) and just an overall great way to spend some downtime in EPCOT. Of course, this is good for breakfast or lunch... as to truly experience EPCOT, doing dinner in one of the countries is the way to go. Excellent review as always. :)
Agree with all of you. We went in 2018 and this restaurant was a 10 out of 10 with our group of 6!! EMMA those Ears are so lovely!! Please forgive me but I don’t know what they are can you share? I love them!!! And your earrings too!! So cute!! And Breedlove what can I say you’re wonderful!
It's fine. I don't get why this is so consistently raved about with influencers though; every time AJ raves about the place I tell myself it has to be because the food is easy for picky kids. We love living with land and try this place every couple years. Even with pretty low expectations, my group is always at least a little disappointed with the bland, basic food every single time. Country skillets can be amazing- this is fine- but at Disney prices. We just find ourselves always leaving Gardin Grill wishing we went somewhere else in World Showcase or wishing we grabbed a cheaper snack instead of filling up here. (Though we have never asked for vegan options so haven't tried the veggie loaf, which might have to be how we try it next time--so thanks for giving us that!)

I loved this restaurant however, the salad literally tasted like dirt. Lol but I will say I still dream of that beef with chimichurri sauce. 😍😍😍 probably the best thing I ate in Disney World.
We will be at Epcot on a Wednesday next month. I wasn’t able to snag a reservation 😔 in your experience do you think we might be able to join the walk up waitlist pretty easily? We were hoping for an end of the day dinner.
We enjoy eating there but I need to take a motion sickness pill (I have allergies so I get fluid in my ears and the slight turning makes me nauseous). So we try to do all rides that trigger that feeling on the same day to get maximum use of the pills. The one time I didn’t take the pills I had to eat our entire meal staring down at my dish - cast members kept coming by to check on me to ensure I didn’t get too ill. I enjoy the fresh foods but wish I had an option of not moving.
I actually didn’t like Garden Grill. Because the description REALLY makes it sound cool but having ridden Living with the Land and finishing in front of a wall…was not fun. The characters stopped at every table BUT mine. So if you don’t have kids, they won’t come say hi. They’ll wave but thats it. I was quite disappointed in the whole thing. I hope those who like it had a better experience than I did!
I should add. When I went, the characters were ONLY able to come from the back and couldn’t come around to the actual tables. This was back in January 2022.

You can see these characters anywhere, only Mickey has a special outfit, unlike Hollywood & Vine, Tusker House, Chef Mickey's, Topolino's etc where all characters are dressed special.

This is Always a Must Do for us. At least once though we usually do try to go twice. Their breakfast is great too.
You may have convinced me to make this our one sit down restaurant dinner place when we are there next February.

Tip: for the best mac and cheese, or mac salad, use cavatappi instead of elbows.

It says they serve turkey now. Last time we went it was BBQ. U think it will switch back for summer.
Are you allowed to customize food items??? Can you ask for salad without olives and corn without the peppers, as an example?
