The oldest ball that I throw in league is my grandmas mid 1970s white dot for spares. I actually use it on house shot sometimes to play straight up board 6!
White Dot was the first finger tipped ball I had. It was also the first time I threw 16lbs. The blue dot was also a great ball! I won a lot of money during late night pot games back in the mid to late 90' with that Blue Dot. It hit like a tank for a plastic ball.
An old Ebonite Avenger Urethane from 2001. My father gave it to me after he retired from bowling a few years ago. It has worked great for me primarily as a spare ball, but sometimes I'll even use it as my main ball on shorter tournament patterns.
A Johnny P LT48 in second set league (super burn) on a Friday night in 1997. I think the ball was almost 20 years old at the time. I shot 744 and won 2nd and 3rd game doubles for about $400.
Just picked this up from my pro shop for a steal. Was a mess up by the owner. accidently drilled for a right hander. Ball was drilled perfectly for me so picked it up out the door for 125. This will fit perfectly in the middle of my ball lineup. cant wait to get this thing on the lanes.
I Throw a vendetta pearl it’s 20 yrs old my pro shop has three brand new old stock on todays low oil house pattern it’s gets a lot of play for me everywhere
I have a red faball that I throw in league! I averaged 230 with it! I also have my grandfather original black rhino rhat I throw along with a black hammer, a burgandy, and a blue!
I’m still using my Cuda/C from thirty years ago. I’ve bounced around with a dozen balls since getting that Cuda, but I always end up back with it. It’s super consistent on most house shots. I can verify that it’s no bueno on a sport shot.
Columiba's good ole Ti Boss II...thing is still in one piece and I always have that in my bag for when the lanes are dry. It may be old, but damn, it's still hits hard.
That Cuda C Pearl was the best ball I ever owned, it hit hard as hell for me. It was a gamechanger with me. Loved that ceramicore!! I was in high-school when it came out, I got mine for Christmas along with my best friend who was living at out house. Best gift I ever recieved!!
I have a pair of faball blue hammers that shape real well on the local house shot. One has a weight hole and I haven’t got around to plugging it yet. I have a black u dot and a faball pearl hammer I need to plug. I have one of the old track balls that has a ceramic core in it and I couldn’t put an IT in it. I think it’s a track ball. It’s purple color and I haven’t seen it in a min. It’s buried somewhere. Oh answer the question- 1991 blue hammer and it’s not used as a spare ball. Resin ball - 2010 eagle. Once and awhile the troads comes out along with a storm X factor. Sometimes the ebonite gb2 is used as well.
Oldest ball I am throwing in a league is a blue Ebonit urethane Gyro I got in 1991, first ever ball I bought. I use it to pick up 10 pin now, but it was a damn good ball when I first got it. Hint I was 15 when I bought the ball
Threw my U-Turn Particle Pearl last week in league and shot 289/737. Also used it this past summer in a sport shot series, and it worked well on the fresh short patterns.
Was actually really nice to see a bowl that is clearly not right for the pattern and see how having the correct ball for the correct lane prep really works.
First was the Hammer Swagga next Hammer deep purple taboo, next Dv8 frequency, next Roto Grip Idol Helios and just ordered Hammer Black Widow Ghost Pearl, was also given an orginal Motiv Primal Rage, Storm Marvel green one, Roto Grip Beresk, amf amflite, and a Storm Reign Supreme.
First year back into league after a decade away from bowling, aside from winging a house ball with the family. Had no idea that balance holes were no longer allowed, so the only ball I had in the bag without one was the Columbia Wild R/G/R. First time out went well. Now the debate is to plug and try the one I used the most in the past or splurge on something new.
I loved the Cuda/C pearl. My favorite ball of all time. Shot a couple of 300s, and cashed on several tournaments with it in the 90's. It was so versatile, just what was needed when they increased volumes and length to fight reactive balls. It was usually the first ball out of my bag, better in long oil than some balls with plenty of surface, and really starting to shine when there's even a hint of transition - just needed to move left gradually and increase the speed a bit (starting slow of course because it's a pearl!).
Aaaand THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is why I use a thumb slug. ;-) Oldest ball I throw in league is a rubber Black Beauty as a spare ball. The thing is virtually indestructible, so I'll never need another spare ball.
I've still got a Lane Masters Masterpiece from 2005 in my bag at the moment. I stopped bowling in 2009 and restarted again last year so the Masterpiece is the last of my old equipment I've still to replace
Cool video talk tech bowling ball coulubia 300 cuda with dynamic core technology in the bowling ball more strike and spare hitting power at time Jr pro shop
As far as League goes, I throw all new stuff but I do have a Brunswick Anaconda that I break out every now and then if I need a little more predictability. Just for funsies that break out my old Storm Fired Up. It's actually pretty great for walking up to five board. Hits a little flat but still carries
My first season bowling league in 2008 I was using an old AMF 3 dot my best guess would be from the late 80s to early 90s it was a hand me down from my mother in law. Then I upgraded to a Hammer Jack emerald.
The oldest ball I still throw and love is the Ebonite Destiny Solid. Majorly underrated symmetrical solid. Hits like a truck as well. On sport condition I usually throw it on shorter to medium patterns.
Oldest ball I throw in League is my trusty ol’ “Faball Blue Hammer” Great for spares and when things get tough in the game 3 burn. Still hits like a 🔨 hammer
I'm still throwing the c300 swerve. Can't put it down, haven't found anything with similar motion to replace it. But after seeing this vid the Cuda might be that ball I've been looking for.
Lanes have to be bone dry to see the DV8 Green/White Misfit…seems like a young pup against these classic venerable balls still being thrown (shout out to the AMF Urethane Black Angle and Black Hammer…long gone but game changers when I bowled juniors).
The last time I bowled league, the oldest ball was easily the original HyRoad; the oldest bowling ball I've ever drilled though was a brand new AMF Ninja Black that I found in the basement of the bowling alley I worked at.
I have 2 old Columbia 300 balls one is a c300 ransom demand , the other is a c300 rock solid . Not sure on the years on those fairly certain the rock is late 90’s early 2000 and the ransom demand maybe 2011ish ?
What happened to Mitch with his interchangeable coming off when throwing the ball is one of the reasons I'm afraid to switch from a mold to an interchangeable. lol Anyway the oldest ball in my bag would be a my spare ball, an older Blue Dot.
I used to love the old cuda/c. I hope they "remake" the piranha c. I actually have an undrilled Jade piranha C but I didn't wanna drill it lol. I'll probably sell it some day.
Oldest ball I bowl with was a swagga hammer. Reactive resin it was my first ball second I bowl with was a Brunswick Tenacity Grit pearl. That was before I bought the hammer purple urethane and a hyped hybrid and now I use a idol magenta. But will u guys do a review on the blue IQ compared to a Soniq the old one not the super Soniq. Thanks loved the old vs new.

Wow that’s old

Sometimes, I'll pull out my original Hammer/Fabal Burgundy Hammer.
Amf sumo urethane from 1992. I have 3 300’s with that ball. Awesome find on my part.
Still rocking my original Turbo X !!!
A Johnny P LT48 in second set league (super burn) on a Friday night in 1997. I think the ball was almost 20 years old at the time. I shot 744 and won 2nd and 3rd game doubles for about $400.

Crown Regal as spare ball mid 70’s. Also Black Rhino Urethane 1985.
I’ve thrown one of the old ceramicore piranha’s, not sure of the release date but I do know that it was a 20 year old ball when I threw it
I still throw an old late 90s Danger Zone sometimes. I made the switch to it for my 3rd game in league last week and rolled a 226 with it.
I have a red faball that I throw in league! I averaged 230 with it! I also have my grandfather original black rhino rhat I throw along with a black hammer, a burgandy, and a blue!

Maybe this doesn’t count, but my spare ball is a Black Knight that I bought new in 1987-ish.
Columiba's good ole Ti Boss II...thing is still in one piece and I always have that in my bag for when the lanes are dry. It may be old, but damn, it's still hits hard.
I still have a Purple Rhino Pro from 90's. 16lbs Hits like a bomb.. straight as an arrow..
The original Johnny P LT48 Gold. I love it and it goes with me everywhere.
That Cuda C Pearl was the best ball I ever owned, it hit hard as hell for me. It was a gamechanger with me. Loved that ceramicore!! I was in high-school when it came out, I got mine for Christmas along with my best friend who was living at out house. Best gift I ever recieved!!

pearl command zone from Brunswick circa 2000ish....when lanes get really baked it still holds its shape
Jade Quantum from the 90s. It’s dynamite on the short stuff
I currently use a black beauty as a spare ball and even had used it as my strike ball when the outside gets too dry
3:44 4 boards right wa the perfect move on the Cuda C, amazing it still hooks. 4:51 dang Mitch did your switch grip brake ?
Same thing happened to me last night with my Cuda switch grip! I had to use a house ball the remainder of the game and bowled 221 😂
Oldest in my arsenal: Columbia White Dot 1970's model, 1999 Columbia Messenger TI, and a track 716C.. all still very useful along with my new stuff.
My oldest ball is the Columbia Jekyll. I absolutely love the way that ball flips and hits the pocket.

Crazy Antic bowling 2014. Best ball ever for me.. Which they bring it back. 🤔 Still bowling with it.
1982 Brunswick Mark X still a great ball from the outside in but the shell just keeps giving away around the thumb hole
I love using old equipment since our house has old lanes. Lately I've been loving the Morich Solid LevRG
Absolute Inferno. Was my first "real" ball (not counting the old pancake core Tornado Warning) and I'm still using it.
Had 2 of those absolute infernos. Really good ball. The whole inferno line up was good.
Multiple new balls every year and my Brunswick Combat Zone Pearl is still the first ball out of my bag most days
My oldest ball is a 16 lb black beauty which I use for spares and when the lanes dry out. I'm able to control the pocket with that ball.
First year back into league after a decade away from bowling, aside from winging a house ball with the family. Had no idea that balance holes were no longer allowed, so the only ball I had in the bag without one was the Columbia Wild R/G/R. First time out went well. I’d like to see Columbia big back an updated version of the Piranha one of my favorite ball of all time.
Oldest ball in my bag is a hypercell fused. Also have a pro motion and a c300 savage life i throw on occasion. Both are very underrated.
I loved the Cuda/C pearl. My favorite ball of all time. Shot a couple of 300s, and cashed on several tournaments with it in the 90's. I also had the Cuda n it was a monster 👍👍
I use my original Quantum and Quantum Helix. My favorite balls forever.
07 roto grip neptune. it rolls like a pearl, but hits like a solid.
I use to use a manhathan rubber ball black with blue speckles for a spare ball for a while but the plug cracked quite quick .
Aaaand THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is why I use a thumb slug. ;-)
Oldest ball I throw in league is a rubber Black Beauty as a spare ball. The thing is virtually indestructible, so I'll never need another spare ball.
