Great hunt…with some VERY interesting finds! I just started detecting a year and a half ago…and have been swinging the Simplex+ the whole time. I’ve found a ton of really great relics and coins…but am starting to consider trying a Legend next year. Most everyone out there seems to think it’s a good move. If you don’t mind my asking; did YOU start with a Simplex…and if so, was the switch over a challenge with all the adjustable settings?
My only guess for that gear looking lead object was that it looked a *little* like a billiards bridge?
