I got my d6+ from roadrunner 2 years ago. This company cares about the consumer n they have taken such good care of me on so many occasions. They have amazing reviews n I'm not surprised they came out with an amazing scooter. Roadrunner is next Level!
I just got my Roadrunner RS5 V2.0 and got a few miles in to test everything out. 😎 I was impatient and only charged the battery to 60% or so. 😋 I took it out for a ride that was almost exactly 10 miles. I weigh about 145lbs, and the outside temperature was about 84deg. (I ended up with about 40-45% battery after the ~10 miles.) My Roadrunner seems to default to Dual motor, 1st Speed on power-up. My first take off on this bad boy squealed wheels and almost ripped away from my hands 😂 I was even more impressed by 3rd gear. It has some real ass behind it! 🤣 In no less than riding about 9 miles, multiple people honked in some sort of approval, or yelled "Whoa" or "Yeah" between numerous attempts of other people rolling down their windows and basically starting a red-light conversation about the scooter,, and one guy was recording video from his driver's window 😆 *This scooter REALLY turns heads! It's insane!!* *(and more fun than my old 600cc sportbikes)* (Warning to new riders! People WILL immediately try to race you at red lights!) 🤣 😎
I bought mine in November. The roads finally dried up enough here in Montana that I could take it out last weekend, It was a blast. I like the thumb throttle a lot compared to the trigger on my D6+. I'm glad I got it. I was a little hesitant about buying something that just came out and no reviews available.

Looks like a Vsett killer meaning it has thumb throttle and a good display and some other things. I have a Vsett 10 and this seem to have the things I miss with my Vsett.
A few people watching your speed tests in this video might not immediately notice that the only sounds in the recording are basically just the tire treads on the road at high speed! 😎 This scooter is SO QUIET it really impressed me in that regard. 😳
Honestly I like the way ebikes or escooters sound when they go fast 😂 it's like those who like muscles cars vrooming, except we like our vehicle whistling lol
Hey man nice review on that new escooter. I just received my n6 last week and I’m thinking about sending it back for that one you have for the same price $2000. You don’t seem to have any issues with that scooter and it seems to be fast and good for city traveling.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace I end up getting the Arvada m11 instead. I love the way how you can operate it and without the Bluetooth key. It can’t even turn on or function either. I hope this was another good option
In NYC roads are bad and this scooter did amazing. I forgot to include that footage in this video but it is coming in the updates. Received super cool accessories today.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace Canadian city roads are pathetic. NYC roads are 90% better than the roads I ride on. I have a Dualtron X2 and need every inch of the tire. I also have a TNE with 10 x 2.5 tires and am afraid to drive it on the roads of Hamilton Ontario.

Started with the Segway G30LP (Tier 1), next is the Voromotors Emove Cruiser (Tier 2) and then after that I think Roadrunner RS5+ (Tier 3) would be my next step up from that. Other noice choices Level 4-7 might be the Obarter X7, Weped, Dragonfly Hyperscooter, etc. Berri No-ICE.

So close to a perfect cross towner. I wish they had a stand alone regen brake thumb activator like Apollo is going. On the second side I am not a fan of key entry placement or key in general. Add a pin number I don't like carrying around keys. My house lock is a pin or nfc, my car uses nfc, the age of keys is over.
i rode this scooter again in the weekend about 15 miles and this ride is super sweet. Second option after Nami burn E. These are the best scooters I tested so far.
Great video, content and scooter! In the market again for another one, and this looks great. Thanks again for the video. Quick question, what is the charger rating for it? Standard 2 amps? Couldn't find the information on the site. Also, would you think this would be a better option over the Orbitar scooter?
As the companies keep making these scooters btr and faster and people use them on the roads alongside cars I have a feeling the government will regulate them to make money off them and us..
The one question I don't think you mentioned in this review (unless I missed it) is, does it have sine wave controllers??? Checking their website, the answer seems to be "yes" it does! I have to say, I'm very tempted to pick one of these up! It looks like an all-around very well-rounded scooter. I just wish it had 11" wheels. The Solar P1 Pro Electric Scooter at $1800 looks tempting as well.
You are the go to guy now for electrics scooters! Keep them coming! Question: Is this small enough to go by the nyc office lobby check? i.e they won't stop you? thanks.
I go in various buildings in NYC and with this model no one is asking any questions. It is not big but extremely powerful. Best option today in this size and class.
The more I see scooters with a removable battery, the more that I want one. 2 batteries could easily get you almost a hundred miles. I even see aftermarket companies maybe offering to build same battery with more Amp hours

Is the battery for this UL certified? With all the cheap e-bikes fires happening here in NYC, most condos had band e-bike/scooter from being aloud in your apartments.
No the battery isn't ul certified . I have the same scooter under the kugoo name . To be honest even if the battery is UL certified I'll still not charge it unattended because lots of things can still go wrong . Look at tesla, for example, being so expensive, there have been instances of battery fires
Nice what is the total length of this scooter in inches once its folded up? I trying to see if this scooter will fit in the trunk of my car? Im locatee in the US. Are there distributors in the US for this scooter?
I love this review! It was so in-depth, informative and hands-on that I basically f*cking ordered a Roadrunner RS5 not long after watching! 😎 (I can't wait to finally receive mine in a few days!) ...As for the ordering process, it was great but there were no delivery options, only UPS. The price, direct from Roadrunner was exactly as-is, no tax or shipping, ..but no shipping options. 😞 After I ordered, I was sent a "complimentary" aluminum decal badge for the front stem, as apparently a few assemblies went out with decals installed upside-down 🙄 Maybe they will automatically preemptively send out complimentary fenders too, because that was the #1 (and probably only) complaint I've seen about this scooter...broken fenders during shipping. (My only complaint is against UPS for delaying my shipment!) 😂
@@ElectricVehicleSpaceI wish I would have known before I had ordered it! You should mention your affiliate links at the end of your videos, because I had no idea until it was too late!! 😞 I would love to support your channel! It's sooo good!
You hit 40mph as it seems the display is off by some MPH when the GPS is tracking. Once you get into the tunnel GPS will have issues tracking but the last recorded speed seems to line up. Id give 42mph max.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace but you can also clearly see speed disparities before you enter the tunnel, Im just saying. It doesnt look like you are going faster. Ill watch it again to check, and admit im wrong if im wrong.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace Despite the delay in the GPS updating, there are a couple points where GPS is showing 26 MPH and that display is showing 30mph. Even towards entering the tunnel you see the dash speedo hit 45 while the gps which updates just before entering stops at 40. This could be an edge case with the tunnel or something else. Id redo it in an environment where you end up with a max gps read to be safe. @6:31 this is more apparent as even though you are decelerating, the speed on the gps still is reading slower than the wheel speed on the dash implying the update delay is not impacting this. If it was a delay alone, then it would be present on both ends, ending with the bar display showing faster than gps on acceleration, and slower than gps on deceleration, but never does this seem to happen. That is all, just trying to make sure the testing is solid. Thanks for making the content.
@@darkchild256 there is no signal in the tunnel that is why the speed on GPD stays lower but the scooter accelerate and gains speed and that is proved by the scoter speedometer that is calculated by the rotation of rim. The accuracy may be faster or slower by 2 to 3 miles but beside that is accurate and a lighter rider should get more top speed.
I have a roadhitter fastest speed on their site coming its in illinois like am hour away from my state lol im excited. Im definitely not taking certsin roads ik what streets the cops take here lol
@@ElectricVehicleSpace i’ll be waiting for your review on that one. You’ll be surprise how sable and safe it is on high speed, for me it’s more stable on nami, and the throttle is way better than kaboo and nami.
How does the power compare to the Varla? They have two 1000w motors which is obviously less than this they me you are reviewing HOWEVER, peaknpower in the Varla is rated at 3200w. Does the roadrunner have a higher peak power rating??
RS5+ came dead on arrival. After several attempts to resolve this issue they finally sent me a new display via UPS ground which took nearly a week to arrive. My company would have sent this 3 OZ item overnight express. The display did not solve the problem. After another week of poor communication with support they finally agreed to replace the scooter with a new one which took another week. Both scooters arrive with broken rear fenders. The new scooter works. When trying to use 2 chargers recommended for a quicker charge both chargers overheat to the point I can barely touch them so I am VERY CONCERNED about the fire hazard. After several hours both charger still show red light indicating charge is not complete. If I unplug one charger the other charger indicator light shows green indicating a full charge. Again I am very concerned of the potential fire hazard. I have an Ecells ebike with dual batteries, it uses a single charger to charge both simultaneously. The charger has a built in cooling fan as well as heat sink fins and never overheats, the price is the same as the cheap plastic charger from Roadrunner. Roadrunner brags about the sine wave technology and the thumb throttle giving smooth acceleration, NOT TRUE, very jerky and difficult to maintain steady speed. The wiring in the battery compartment is a total mess, just shoved in the small compartment in front of the battery. I truly wish I had done more research before purchasing this scooter and recommend everyone do so.
I showed the scooter exactly as it is in the video and I am still riding it and mine it is perfect. In the battery compartment there is only one wire. Not sure how and why yours is so different. Anyone can comment here anything and there is no way to check the credibility of your comment but I cannot fake the video and I am showing exactly what I got and I will show this scooter in the future videos proving that my review is transparent and accurate. Also this RS5 plus I have works perfectly as it should now.
Would be helpful if you posted a video documenting everything you claim. Mine came in perfect condition and I ride on it daily. You should have posted a detailed video and maybe your response would've been better to pinpoint what is exactly wrong. Sometimes, bad batches happen during quality control. But, if you cannot communicate the problem better, making a video presentation of the issues is warranted. Otherwise, customer support and viewers who are more experienced in trouble shooting repairs cannot help fix your problem base on what you type.
@@brett19890 Well said. I know several riders that own this scooter and they are perfect. This individual is probably from a brand that is competing with this model company and he is trying to bad mouth them. I know the owner of this brand and he seems legit and stand up guy. He would have taking care of this issue if it was communicated to his team, but I think it is made up crap.
Am i the only one who wish a model of E-scooter existed which CAN'T fold? I keep feeling like its a "nice" feature, but very useless for people like me, and I'd prefer stability/rigidity than a folding stem

I had to change it and stuff all the wires back.. u doing ur thang riding in the city like that .. lol if u can ride there . U can make it anywhere. Update : u where in englewood cliffs .. im a vsett 10 owner .
That’s a real nice scooter😊😊
Yes indeed
Rs5 or arvala m11? What is yours choice?
Was looking at this scooter but decided on the Obarter D5... So far I love the D5, sexy, sturdy and solid and , for 1600 USD is a great deal... Got the 200 off with your coupon so thnx bro... Nice video on the Roadrunner, is a nice scoot, may look into Roadrunner next time...
Both great scooters but RS5 it is higher quality than D5 but D5 has a more mean fast machine look.
I'm not gonna lie I've been waiting on someone to review this scooter since it hit the website only thing I wish it was at least a 60v instead of 52v since the d4 and d6 plus is already 52v that cost cheaper
that is a good point.
So, what headlight is that? I also do not like low mounted front lights
Swapped out my controller with RR. When I put everything back together, my friend almost fell over when I freewheel it and the speedo hit 90mph....😮
I'm struggling between this, the wolf king GT, and the Segway GT2. Which one should I go with? I want quality, range, and speed. Thanks.
This is my favorite scooter today www.mukutariding.com/?ref=JnPFa430x82va

The key placement is pretty ridiculous, and the wiring looks like RoadRunner doesn't know what they're doing. Nice scooter overall, though. They just need to clean up all the negatives that you pointed out. Nice review!
Yes, exactly but check this follow up and upgrade from Roadrunner. Love this new RS. My favorite blue touches. Looks AWESOME!

Very interesting scooter.
I'm not quite sure I'd pick this over the The Mantis King GT though @44MPH and 74lbs.
This looks just like the ausom gallop... any relation here?
Can you charge the battery while its removed from the scooter?
Have you seen the full video?
i’m between this RS5+ or the Nami Klima or maybe the Vsett10+ 🤷 ?
Me too look at the yume hawk pro too
This scooter or Apollo phantom v2 or wolf warrior X GT ????
No watch the video
Greeting:How does the rs5 stack up compared to the blade gt + in your opinion?
I did not try the GT blade unfortunately.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace Ok 👍🏽
You can go on the wet road?
wow...r they shipping to canada dude? looks cool man!
It is cool indeed. Not sure about Canada. You can email them.
Very similar to my solar black edition fast af
I like the solar FF it's fast and only 70 lbs weight, but RS5 in design and performance is so much superior.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace your talking about the regular ff this black edition with 72v 40ah one is much heavier
@@Trailfloater how you liking the ff black edition? I'm waiting on mind to arrive . Any issues? And top speed you getting on gps?
@@Travis73917 no I haven’t done that yet been working so haven’t done too much! It’s a beast!! Takes some riding to get shocks less stiff but other than that I love it! Fast in the turbo mode with dual motors! In mode 1 with turbo and dual I was getting speeds of 40 to 42 havent rly done mode 2 and 3 in full stretches but it’s a beast! Do are you familiar with scooters? Like this is my second hyper scooter and my 4th e scoot. Lean forward and hold on! Could use a damper but u don’t need one you just gotta place your body right and hold on tight! Twist throttle is fucking awesome!! I slimed my tires but whatever u want to do! Awesome lights, horn is stupid loud!!!! So much bro it’s fun though!! Heavy heavy heavy!! after it’s charged leave it on the green light for about an hour hour and a half
@@Trailfloater what that does leave in on green for an hour in half?
Is the battery for this UL certified? With all the cheap e-bikes fires happening here in NYC, most condos had band e-bike/scooter from being aloud in your apartments.
No the battery isn't ul certified . I have the same scooter under the kugoo name . To be honest even if the battery is UL certified I'll still not charge it unattended because lots of things can still go wrong . Look at tesla, for example, being so expensive, there have been instances of battery fires
Is there a seat for this beast ?
I think you can DIY one esy.
@Electric Vehicles Space thank you, what seat do you recommend without needing to drill new holes into the scooter frame
Available in canada
Almost as well-built and solid like the Segway GT2
way better and faster
Nice what is the total length of this scooter in inches once its folded up? I trying to see if this scooter will fit in the trunk of my car? Im locatee in the US. Are there distributors in the US for this scooter?
Link in the description with all info.
I love this review! It was so in-depth, informative and hands-on that I basically f*cking ordered a Roadrunner RS5 not long after watching! 😎
(I can't wait to finally receive mine in a few days!)
...As for the ordering process, it was great but there were no delivery options, only UPS.
The price, direct from Roadrunner was exactly as-is, no tax or shipping, ..but no shipping options. 😞
After I ordered, I was sent a "complimentary" aluminum decal badge for the front stem, as apparently a few assemblies went out with decals installed upside-down 🙄
Maybe they will automatically preemptively send out complimentary fenders too, because that was the #1 (and probably only) complaint I've seen about this scooter...broken fenders during shipping.
(My only complaint is against UPS for delaying my shipment!) 😂

What's the difference between rs5 and rs5 plus??
Rs5+ has big battery
What are hybrid tires??
I need the link to that light please?
You hit 40mph as it seems the display is off by some MPH when the GPS is tracking. Once you get into the tunnel GPS will have issues tracking but the last recorded speed seems to line up. Id give 42mph max.
Thes GPS locks due to signal loss but the speedometer shows the speed.
Does it have split rims?
How much is that?
All info in the video
No need for mirrors?
How do you charge this scooter?
I have a roadhitter fastest speed on their site coming its in illinois like am hour away from my state lol im excited. Im definitely not taking certsin roads ik what streets the cops take here lol
Question does it have lock to keep it held when folded ? I live in nyc as well and I want to be able to carry it up and down stairs.
watch the all video. I show that part
I have a question though, does yours also have that Bluetooth icon on the display?
yes flashing you can see it in the video
How would you compare this to the Apollo phantom v4?
The New upgraded RS5 is better
I hope they invent a fast charging soon on EV. Electric Vehicles could save our environment.
Take a look at the follow-up video on this scooter. You can charge it with a fast option in 3 hours.
@@ElectricVehicleSpacewhat video is that?
Are u allowed to cross the Lincoln tunnel riding that?
No
Where do you order your scooters from?
I placed link in the description. Also use the code to get $50 off.

i was about to get this but bec. it’s my first escoot i went with minimotors as they are closer to me when i need em. no regrets though
This is so much better.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace i got fighter supreme though, have you tried it?
@@boyetpogi no
@@ElectricVehicleSpace i’ll be waiting for your review on that one. You’ll be surprise how sable and safe it is on high speed, for me it’s more stable on nami, and the throttle is way better than kaboo and nami.
@@boyetpogi where did you get it?
How does the power compare to the Varla? They have two 1000w motors which is obviously less than this they me you are reviewing HOWEVER, peaknpower in the Varla is rated at 3200w. Does the roadrunner have a higher peak power rating??
Way more power than Varla also lighter.
Does the speed get reduced when battery gets low ?
Yes under 15 to 10% gradually.
HOW ARE THE TUBELESS TIRES SO FAR FROM RIDING ??
All are working well.

Thank you.
How's this compared to the mantis king gt?
I commented in the video.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace you only mentioned the mantis pro, not the king gt which was awarded the best all terrain scooter of 22/23
better than the orginal vsett 10
Oohh nooo!🙈🙈🙈..can not be shiped here in Austria...😭😱😭

Awesome review
Looks like KuKirin G3 Pro and Ezotron E400.
This model was released before kukirin
We have a 15 mile an hour speed limit for scooters in California. Do the cops bother you in New York going 40 or 50 miles an hour?
I don't ride faster than 25 to 35mph. That was done for the review and police never stopped me so far.
@@ElectricVehicleSpace Great review and the police seem not to bother here either unless someone is really riding crazy or reckless ;
🗽 cops they don’t care 😂
That's a vsett rebrand for sure
I tried Vsett and RS5 better
No sound?
Give it 5 minutes. It is still loading but the sound should be on.
Am i the only one who wish a model of E-scooter existed which CAN'T fold? I keep feeling like its a "nice" feature, but very useless for people like me, and I'd prefer stability/rigidity than a folding stem
You can DIY and make it rigid. Easy to do.
Originated this is KugooKirin G3 Pro.
it is the other way around.
