But love really had it bad, losing her brother and then her mother to rehab, barely sees her father, left her friends for Joe and Henry, she and Joe both feel like outsiders but try to keep it together. But that scene when Love really died . And him dragging her body there and just writing her suicide letter. I feel bad for her in the end. She never got the family she did everything for, that unconditional lovE.

i think we relate to this relationship so bad because at some point we've all felt that desperation, wanting someone to love us for who we are and to accept us as we are. we see that in love and joe. She accepted him fully for who he was, he couldnt do the same for her.

joe likes the idea of saving women because he wanted to be there for his mom and recue her from bad things. so meeting and falling in love with someone like love, who didn't need saving, was tragic.
This is such a pretty video, I just finished YOU season 3 and had my jaw hanging open ever since. The writers of this show are great at creating such a freaky environment where you hate these characters but on the same level feel just a little bit of… sympathy, for them. But the final episode, godddd. This show is incredible. Amazing edit!

She did have a choice to divorce him did she not?

In the first season I liked joe w beck and rooted for them and hoped that she wasn’t actually dead but after s2 I legit got OBSESSED w love and joe, they were literally end game and in s3 I HOPED that they would still somehow make it work but then joe goes out and fucking kills her? I mean don’t get me wrong, love did some fucked up things in this season (so did joe as always) but why tf did she had to die...? I mean atleast her death couldve been epic or some shit like i don’t think her character should’ve ended this way, we should’ve seen more of her and Henry or her confrontation w Theo ffs. Also no matter how nice Mariane is, her and joe don’t hit the same way as joe and love do. I really wanted joe and love to somehow sort their marriage and bring up Henry as a family. But ugh Ig I don’t make the rules.

Honestly....I know they are messy as god damn hell, but I was rooting for them and was hoping that they would work their shit out and become a Bonnie and Clyde type couple. I feel like that would have been a lot more interesting to play out rather than Joe falling back into his same pattern. The show is starting to get extremely repetitive and I liked that Loves character brought a different element than Joes other love interest. They both understood and knew the worst parts about each other and there was so much potential for both of them to learn how to deal with that side of themselves.
