Is removable vinyl better to use for wallpaper? Or is it safe to use permanent on walls?

Removeable vinyl is better to use on walls when you know you'll want to take it off the wall in the future, while permanent vinyl is better to use when you want it to stick to a wall for a long time (if you try to remove it, it might peel up the paint)!
