Hi! I came across your video while researching colleges for my Spring 2026 intake, and it was super helpful! I’m from Bangladesh, a developing country in South Asia, and navigating the U.S. application process feels overwhelming. I’ve been active in extracurriculars like being a high school president, a Red Crescent volunteer (Volunteer of the Month in my district), and a science fair winner, but many of these aren’t formally recorded or certified here. My GPAs are 4.75 (SSC) and 4.75 (HSC), and I’m preparing for the SAT (aiming for 1500+) and IELTS (targeting 7.5+). I’d really appreciate any advice on applying to mid-tier U.S. universities on a budget, as I don’t have much guidance. If you’re willing to help further, please let me know how I can reach out. Hi! Even if these activities are not formally recorded / certified you should definitely still be able to put them on your application and talk about them. Your GPA is great as well! I would say the main thing is to apply to many mid-tier but also apply to many "safety" schools because as an international student it will be much harder to get in even if you are as strong as many students from the US. - if you would like to set up a time to meet on zoom or text you can also email me at aynasdiary@gmail.com !
