Y'know, I hate the idea that just because something is non-canon, that means you can't explore what-if scenario's about it. There is no justification for that, because what-ifs are by nature non-canon, so anything should be fair game
The worst part is that Toriyama said in an interview in the 6th Daizenshuu that he actually does consider the movies to happen, just in an alternate dimension. So they ARE technically canon, just in their own timeline.

What if they did this in the frieza/cell saga?
1: Used the dragon balls to bring Guru back to life
2: Another wish to revert him to his prime
3: Fuse with Piccolo
If fusing with Kami allowed Piccolo to fight Android 17, then fusing with a primed Guru could have allowed him to kill Final form Frieza, so probably no Super Saiyan, for now.
Piccolo was pretty much dead at this point so i dont think it will work unless Guru fused with him thus getting rid of both Piccolo and possibly Kami in the process and getting rid of the earth dragonballs.
Also Guru isn't of the dragon clan so i doubt he would be an effective fighter

If Guru fused with Piccolo then Chaotzu wouldn't have been able to come back because the Namakian Dragon Balls wouldn't have worked. Nor would they be able to revive anyome else that were already dead.
Honestly, I've never had this hatred towards Broly so, I'm actually good with this plus there's just something super satisfying about him annihilating Babidi and Dabura.
Don't you find it funny how he considers that people will find it ridiculous, but everyone actually like it (I mean, just check the like/dislike ratio).
In retrospection, it's pretty much like "What if Raditz turned good" at its beginning...

Honestly?
Broly as a reformed gentle giant after the events of his first film is WAY more interesting than the little to nothing they ever did with the character officially. Him becoming friendly with his nemesis' family after the blind frenzy we met him in is a cool concept with tons of potential.

What if Kami never split, simply put, against his "better judgement" the former guardian allowed Kami to be his successor, deciding the fact that he witnessed the reality that is man kind's darkness (they aren't basically good, all have sinned and fallen short, etc...) will actually make him a better guardian. The dragon balls are still there but are stronger, two wishes or one with multi-res; able to bring a person back more than once; still can't reverse natural deaths,; one year dead rule still applies; all other rules apply as normal. The part where changes start is the wish of Oolong, the gang are shocked to learn that there is a second wish, Puar thinks quickly and grabs the wish before Pilaf. The question is what is that wish and how is the series different from here on in?

May be an april fools topic but in all seriousness, I always felt a little sorry for Broly. Broly wasn't evil. He was just insane. His experiences as a child had left him with a mind that was simply incapable of dealing responsibly with the enormous power he was born with. True he was a saiyan that lusted for battle, but Broly's traumatised mind was incapable of any sort of discipline even by their standards.
Amen to that, fortunately he has a new version.

Well, it's not like "What if Broly turned Good?" isn't something that the DBZ games haven't considered before.
In Supersonic Warriors 2 for the DS, they had a What-If Saga where Broly crash-lands on Earth, having lost his memory. Hercule finds him and of course, befriends the amnesiac Super Saiyan. Then Android 18 shows up, demanding Hercule pay her the money he promised her for throwing her fight against him. Broly intervenes, thinking Hercule is in danger, and beats the ever-loving snot out of her. Hercule, seeing how strong he is, takes Broly as a disciple and they enter a Tag-Team tournament together. Of course, Gohan, having also entered, takes notice, and warns his dad after Broly defeats Krillin and Yamcha.
Unfortunately, Broly regains his memories, and goes on a rampage, so Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan attempt to stop him, but are defeated in the process. Before Broly can kill Goku and the others, however, Hercule steps between them, and cries out, pleading with Broly to come to his senses. Miraculously, Broly powers down, and stops his rampage. Things are naturally tense for a while, but he never goes on a rampage again afterwards, though seeing Goku does get him excited... and presumably not murderously so.
So basically, Broly ends up being a more violent Mr. Buu, and shows us that Hercule has a knack for befriending monstrously powerful bad guys... who eventually become good guys somehow.

I did NOT expect this... Turles maybe, but BROLY?? Wow, I never thought of this Iron Giant dynamic, it's actually... quite fitting and rather plausible... It ACTUALLY makes Broly into more of a likeable character, I do hope we get to see more of this... somehow. And more Gine, that is a definite must. XD

A Super Saiyan that found the Gem of Cyttorak
Can you do a "what if Gohan became the main character?" In one of your other videos you touched on how after the cell ark they were thinking about doing this, and I thought it would be interesting to see where they would've gone with the story with Gohan as the MC. It wouldn't be as main plot oriented as some of your other what ifs, it would be kind of meta in a way, you could even toy with creating your own story arks based on how you think Gohan's character would've evolved of placed in that more active role. I don't know, ultimately you'd do with it as you would, but I thought you'd find the idea interesting.
Technically he is the main character. But, he isn't the only main character. Even though the story is based on Goku and his power-ups, Goku is not the primary focus of the story. In some storylines, Goku is no longer included. One such example is Future Trunks' timeline. In this alternate timeline, Gohan and Trunks are the main characters until the androids kill Gohan, making Trunks the main protagonist of that timeline. In other words, most of the protagonists are the main characters.

MasakoX This, this was good honestly I like this new spin on Broly, as previously he was so 2 dimensional. The TFS movie does a great job parodying this, as Broly’s answer used to be literally everything: KAAAKAAAROOOOT! Now it can be something of an iron giant esque take on Broly. Because in the end all broly needed, was a friend (ROLE CREDITS).
But seriously, just as a warning, this could accidentally become as popular as Nappa or what if Raditz

I actually like this what-if scenario. After all the what-ifs of various villians turning good, this one needed a go. And like you said, since it's April Fools anyway, why not. But I do agree that just because a character isn't canon, doesn't mean it isn't fair game for a what-if. I would think it could enhance the story. Besides, there was something toted about the original Super Saiyans that I think got explored with Broly, the fact they burned out fast, that they were only around a very short time. Why was that? Why would the pennicle of the Saiyan race appear and disappear so quickly? Broly was an answer to that, that the power ate the mind. Without a reliable way to keep the power in check, the Saiyan was susceptible to madness from rage, frustration, feeling mentally weak, and not having the same control that a Saiyan that has worked up to the power would. Broly also had a meek demeanor for a Saiyan, whether natural or induced from the device; a meek demeanor might also not be able to handle the power, unable to properly control it. Then when the power shows itself, the lack of control may actually horrify the Saiyan (thought they may revel in the results), further driving them to not want to use the power and weakening their control over it when it does show, creating a spiral effect. For Broly specifically, this scenario gives him a chance at finally learning to control that berserker rage through the very people he tried to destroy from lack of control over it. Vejiita, like Gohan, is going to take some convincing, and far more than Gohan, of Broly's good intentions.

Supersonic Warriors 2 had Hercule befriend him and calm his rage towards Goku. It's one of my favorite what-ifs in the DBZ video games.
Wow, really? I never heard of this one. It sounds great. Like the one in Supersonic Warriors 1 where Piccolo fused with Demon King Piccolo and became as strong as Base Form Super Buu.

And then CHICHI lost all her memories with everyone and she's just android working with 18,17, 16 and then include android 21(but w\o majinbuu power) into the mix! Then trunks arrives back in time to learn
that GOKU's wife has become an android and there are two NEW ANDROIDS, 21 and android 16!! Then TRUNKS loses his mind realizing the past has changed dramatically! While GOKU struggles with the disease as BULMA looks after GOKU in chichi's place!! But GOKU can't sit down he has to save CHICHI!! Then goku finds CHICHI and she's now an android more powerful than android 18 and TRUNK is afraid that they will not be able to save CHICHI!!! And unbeknownst to GOKU, CHICHI is carrying his child GOTEN but she is programmed to kill GOKU and the soul in GOTEN keeps messing with CHICHI's mind!! GOKU eventually strides on to recover from the disease! Meanwhile as the z warriors try to reach out to chichi to get her back for GOKU, CHICHI refuses, and the other androids don't believe the z warriors story and they don't care and CHICHI and 18 decide to kick PICCOLOS. VEGETA's, and TIEN's ass, KRILLIN is freaked out to see CHICHI just whaled on 3 z warriors as dangerous as the other androids now! Krillin is speechless, then he watches 18, 21, 16, 17, and Android 18.2 CHICHI just fly off leaving them in that cavaran!
then the z warriors return to GOKU's side to see him suffering as they now relay that they could not stop the androids and the androids let them live not caring for the z warriors, and they tell GOKU that CHICHI has no memory of them or GOKU!!! GOU struggles!! Meanwhile the androids just go through the saga having fun roaming around CHICHI and 18 and 21 go for a SPA and change their clothes and go out shopping!!
17 and 16 are stuck carrying their bags and are bored of their minds talking crap about 18 for convincing the girls to go make them go out and go shopping!
while CELL has finally made his presence known to the z warriors and the z warrios see that the androids are not focused on the z warirors so the z warriors focus on what is causing an outside world disturbance among the living human population!
The z warriors learn it's CELL!
And then finally the androids go through the saga of CELL coming after them!! VEGETA and TRUNKs train and they bring YAMCHA with them!!
meanwhile the z warrios focus on cell get their butts whipped then randomly 17 and 16 show up out of boredom and watch the z warrios taking on CELL and then they leave after watching this being running away from them!
17 suggest they should go fininsh the job!
But then android 16 stated they should return back to the girls 18, 18.2 and 21!!
Then 17 and 16 bail and go back for the girls leaving the z warriors behind to face their new threat!!
17 and 16 had no idea that piccolo would be after them!
And then CELL appears!
the female androids wonder were 17 and 16 went off to!
And then they find 17 and 16 in a skirqmis with SUPER PICCOLO!
And then they watch!
Android CHICHI 18.2, watches piccolo fight android 17 and then she has a flash back remembering piccolo and then her flash back goes away!
18 and 21 wonder what's wrong with Android chichi 18.2!!
finally goku recovers!!
And then vegeta, yamcha, and trunks come out of the hyperbolic chamber!
All see Yamcha got his LONG HAIR BACK from going into the hyperbolic chamber for a year!!
Yamcha is much cockier and stronger he is keeping the long hair but shaving the beard he doens't want to feel OLD and so Yamcha finally see's he's much more poweerful than piccolo now!!
Yamcha takes the group and they fly to go check on piccolo a ominous presense is around him!
And in the mean time GOKU recovers and decides to train with GOHAN! GOKU realizes he he can only get his wife back! is if GOKU trains to becomes stronger than her again!! And then meanwhile as all the androids have been asborbed CELL then coms for CHICHI android 18.2!! Android 16 tries to protect CHICHI but fails!
Then before long the group learns CELL is there just before PICCOLO was going to destroy android 17 CELL takes over and absorb 17!
Then everyone flips out!
16 watches as piccolo fights the story we all know comes to light then the z warriors and andriods unite!
PICCOLO fails then android 16 takes over, and then cell plays a dirt trick on 16 and damages 16 the androids girls now fear the worst!!
then finally yamcha and trunks and vegeta arrive!
they begin to take on CELL!
Yamcha get's crack at him!
CELL is shocked and amazed that yamcha is holding his own against him!!
And then CELL pulls off a dirty trick to take down yamcha! And then sadly the newly powered over confident yamcha fails!
vegeta takes control and proves he wy more powerful!
then the power gets to vegeta's head, and yamcha and trunks learn that vegeta wants CELL to absorb the other androids including CHICHI android 18.2!!
YAMCHA attack VEGETA!
And Yamcha is able to hold his own because YAMCHA now knows how to keep up and fight exactly as dangerous as VEGEtA!
Then VEGETA finally get's the best of yamcha and takes Yamcha down!
Then TRUNKs who was pursuing CELL as CELL went after the androids get's attacked by vegeta!
Yamcha and krillin carrying the damage android 16 arrived to 18, 21, Android chichi 18.2 and then CELL shows up and takes down yamcha immeidately!!
android 21 in anger goes after CELL and she stupidly get's absorbed and then cell becomes stronger!
TRUNKS arrives and then he's forced to take on CELL!!
TRUNKS holds his own and then vegeta comes back taking TRUNKS out of action!!
Then CELL pursues ANDROID 18.2 and Android 18!!
Then finally CELL subdues Krillin and Yamcha!!
18.2 CHICHI and 18 take on CELL!
And hold their own for as long as they can!
after he manages to absorb 18 by throwing 18.2 CHICHI into the distance with a dirty trick!!
Then finally CELL becomes a huge threat!!
Vegeta arrives get's his ass kicked, then TRUNKS finally comes back to take on CELL and he get's his ass kicked!
Then CELL comes after chichi!!
And then CHICHI is absorbed!
while in they hyperbolic chamber goku training freaks out he is somehow able to sense CHICHI has left the earth and is gone!!
back on earth as CELL looks back at the defeated VEGETA, TRUNKS, KRILLIN, the damaged 16, CELL proposes a CELL GAMES tournament!!
Then CELL leaves!!
The z warriors return back to the top of the tower awaiting to tell GOKU the bad news!
Back in the hyperbolic chamber!
And then when GOKU suspects and learns CELL absorbed his wife, GOKU becomes a SSJ3 while training and GOHAN looks at his father and see's the rage and pain a feeling that gohan taps into as he sense his mother is gone and then GOHAN becomes SSJ2! While GOKU skips ssj2 and become SSJ3! Gohan manages to achieved ssj2 with control they immediately dont' even finish the year in the hyper bolic chamber!
While they are on their way out!!
Then vegeta and the gang watch GOKU and GOHAN come out of they hyperbolic chamber with new power surging around them and they refuse to play CELLS games after they have been briefed to confirm that CHICHI is gone!
SO GOKU and GOHAN look at each other and and they go after CELL immediately!!
HERCULE who was already on his way to scope out the land where CELL did his broadcast for the tournament is scoping the land!
Then HERCULE arrives to see people facing CELL!
The z warriors arrive behind GOKU and GOHAN and HERCULE stands by watching a fight about to go down!!
THEN GOKU and GOHAN jump CELL not even giving cell a fair fight because of what CELL did to CHICHI! He didn't need to absorb her but he did anyway because he want a good fight from GOKU!! And now GOHAN and GOKU defeat cell together as father and son to save CHICHI!
Then CELL is defeated!
Unforunately HERCULE doesn't become the savior of the world but he was there to make it look like he is the one who defeated CELL!
Then after the horror is over, z warriors gather for the dragonballs and wish for all of cells victims to be brought back to life!
including android 16 and 21!! And especially Android 18.2 CHICHI!
And then months later because GOKU didn't die
he learns to see CHICI is pregnant with a child and then she delivers the baby and then GOKU manages to train GOTEN in his image while GOHAN continues to go to school however is able continue his strong power as a zwarrior not slacking off!!
And Android CHICHI 18.2 and ANDROID 18 are now female sparring buddies!!
and goku and krillin watch their wives go at it in hand to hand combat!
While Yamcha tries his luck to get with Android 21 but fails every time but she's teasing him to get him to become a better guy!!

Supersonic Warriors 2 had a What If scenario like this, except Broly wasn't found by Goten.
He was found by Hercule, who takes him in.
Later, he participates in the World Martial Arts Tournament, and regains his memories upon seeing Goku, going berserk.
However, thanks to his newfound friendship, Hercule's able to get him to calm down. Ultimately, he never quite stands being around Goku, but he never goes berserk again.
Honestly continue it, it may actually lead to some good character development for Broly plus.. logically putting this together.. convient plot devices aside... this start makes a lot of sense, and I'd love see this develop much like the Raditz arc you created. 👌

I was really up with this, till the Dabura part. Especially like you said: Broly rushed him. Dabura is a capable fighter and will know when he is out matched. Dabura would then go to his most trusted weapon: His spit.
Broly rushes, Dabura Spits. Broly slowly turns to stone. Gohan shows some emotion, mostly surprise as his opinion of Broly is still reserved. Broly ends as a meaningless character who later might be revived OR even assist Goku and Vageta in the final fight against Kid Buu.
This would open up for a meaningful arc in the afterlife for Goten trying to convince the Kais to allow Broly, who has been unfairly judged for the actions from his King, Father and manipulation from all sides. This would mean Goten and Trunks would have to die earlier than just when Kid Buu destroys the planet, but hey, a lot more interesting than Super Buu absorbing them.
Make it a full saga!! Broly could be a meaningful character with Goten teaching him the innocence of a childhood, something Broly clearly missed. He has been a tool all his life and his Rage was his only way to express himself out of the control of his father and the thread of the outside world.

Dead By Daylight Huh? Dabura is on the level of Super Saiyan 2 Gohan.
Dead By Daylight Yes! He took all the energy from the Z Fighters to actually be damaged. That includes post Hyperbolic Time Chamber Vegeta, Trunks, Goku and Gohan. You can tell based off Gohan's hair and their outfits. It would also explain how Broly could go against even a full powered Super Saiyan 2 Gohan, and even more, in the second movie.
In the first movie Broly can be fought by each and every saiyan, they are actually battling and Broly fights this way. Even if he would have lost his memory, he would still keep the same attitude towards fighting. They ove it, it is in their nature. Those who don't, Vegetás Brother for instance, are terribly weak.
Secondly Dabura is very strong and can even feel the presence of other beings around him. He cannot necessarily sense Ki, but he does know when a life force is rushing him.
Finally Dabura is a scumbag and a coward, he doesn't fight fair from the get go. While in the Buu saga the Saiyans were kept around to fill Buu's Energy, in any other situaion I could not see a scenario where Dabura loses from Broly. Unless Broly knows about Dabura's spit, only exception.
But since this is based around the plot of the Buu Saga then yes, Dabura will keep Broly around and try to suck energy from his body on the command of Babidi. That will make him lose.

no matter how you feel about canon, no other movie character gets as much love/fan service/use as broly, not even Gogeta or Cooler, and they're the closest, but since super came one, and introduced Kale and her being a direct nod to him, hes the most canon "non canon" character to date, I honestly expected/hoped that frost would have been more like cooler in that he had coolers 5th form, or a silver frost form that was a nod to metal cooler, but no, which was kinda surprising given all the fan service.
Oh god Frost having Cooler's form would've been awesome.

c) He gets married and has a peaceful life as a farmer,as peaceful as Broly can get
